The staff of students and alumni volunteers is dedicated to bringing the community together for local and unique music and talkshows. This is a collection of previously aired original shows by Washburn Radio.
International In Depth - The Duality of Colombia
Host Mark Feuerborn sits down with Washburn student Maria Wellman, who visited the South American country of Colombia for her study abroad trip over the winter break. Wellman recalls a country with two different perspectives of hope and despair, coming from a people eyewitness to ongoing armed conflict between their government and paramilitary groups for the last 60 years. Despite this, Wellman visited with communities there making efforts to rebuild and forgive.
