Jacob dies outside the promise land. Joseph's brothers are fearful about retribution. Joseph lives to a ripe old age and dies. On the surface it doesn't seem like this is a good ending to the book of Genesis. But, as we take a closer look we see that even in the face of sin and death, we can have confidence in the future because of good purposes and plans of God. Originally recorded September 18, 2022.
