We’re all striving towards success; at times, we may be willing to do whatever it takes to have it, even if it means abandoning our authenticity and health.
Too often the goals we’ve set for ourselves are not in alignment with who we truly are because we've disconnected from our authentic selves in order to fit the molds and narratives created for us by our families and society. Because of this, we end up climbing the ladder in the wrong direction, chasing dreams and success that never feel fulfilling because we haven’t connected to our true purpose.
This is the struggle of many High Achieving Women.
What does being a High Achieving Woman mean to you, and how does it impact your wellness?
In this episode, I am joined by Star, owner of Wish Upon Me Art and we are discussing the challenges that come along with the High Achieving Woman title. Listen, we are both High Achieving Women, and through our individual healing journey, we developed an awareness of how the habits associated with this title have impacted us.
By the end of this episode, you will be able to identify the characteristics of High Achieving Women and learn that:
✨Anything you aspire to do should not be motivated by the validation of others.
✨Just because you can handle high stress, doesn’t mean you should welcome it.
✨Setting boundaries is personal and necessary for achieving wellness.
✨There is a difference between good and bad stress.
✨What it means to go after your goals aggressively.
