Episode 88 with las Brujas of Brooklyn was my fave episode! I did a 40 day kundalini practice via zoom last summer so many gems were dropped through those 40 days and beyond so this episode was everything!

Love the dynamic between Jessica and Yarel - great topics and they speak eloquently on relevant and difficult topics. I learn something new in each episode!

Love listening to this podcast. They have touched on important topics. As first generation I appreciate the advice other Latinas are sharing about navigating the professional world . I love the talks on personal stuff like relationships and skin care !! 💛

I absolutely love this podcast! Jessica and Yarel create a space where the Latinx community feels comfortable to open up and talk about real life situations we can all relate to. They discuss issues many of us go through regularly and normalizing those feelings that we might feel are unacceptable to have and are hard on ourselves for them. We’re human, and they bring that humane approach to every topic they put on the table.

This is an absolute thrill to listen to! Yarel and Jessica have found a nitch that allows them to talk about all topics. It’s really refreshing to hear two latinas talk about current issues.

I first found out about this podcast when Patty from HDTM was on, so I went back and binged listened. As a Latina, a lot of the topics are very relatable and inspiring.

I love to hear you women out. In every single episode I can relate it to a part of my soul. Gets my brain to think and exercise it on topics I sometimes believe I’m the only one going through as a women. There’s a lot I have learned, put in practice and keep growing in knowledge through every episode. You girls are amazing, full of spark, full of knowledge, full of love and intelligence. I’m a new listener as of this year and loving it so much wanted to commend you ladies on your awesome job! Jess, you made a comment about how you want to give back and empower as well. I feel you ladies are doing that with this podcast! Very refreshing to hear two intelligent, hardworking Latinas speak about life! Also refreshing to hear guests, like Eva (Adriana speak on imposter syndrome and Julissa on curls awhile back are more great examples) who speak on topics that directly describe what it means to be a Latina. Reminds me of the type of women I’d like to surround myself with. The recent episode with Eva Macias resonated with me so much that I had to stop by and leave a positive review! The latter part of the conversation especially because as an accountant (and soon to be CPA) my mind is focused on trying to figure out how I can use my knowledge to help our Latino community and community of women as well. I love hearing women talk about their finances and sharing knowledge!! We need more of this. Hearing you ladies speak to Eva speak about her background and motivation to get educated in finance feels like I’m hearing my own story. Sorry so lengthy! Kudos!

I think they’re making this podcast just for me. While listening, I always find myself saying, “Wow! I really needed to hear that.” It makes me feel like less of a doofus as I’m going through life. Through this podcast, I’m learning a lot about me. Whether it comes from my womb, manifesting, my determination, “source” or all of the above, I’m making money moves! They are so transparent about their growth and learning—it’s refreshing.

They will have you saying, wait, you too?Definitely recommend. They know good content.

I have grown so much as an individual listening to their podcast. Making reference to culture, media, and politics made me realize it’s ok to stand out and be who you want to be.

Jess & Yarel both have professional careers as journalists and great chemistry on the podcast! They are such a gift, every week it’s like I’m sitting at the table breaking ish down with my intellectual homegirls.

Yarel and Jessica keep me both inspired and up to date with what’s happening around the world. Their hard work and dedication to their craft shines through with each episode and I know I’m going to learn something new every single time!

Listening to the first episode that’s available right now which is the interview with Amelia Cueva. The way she speaks about other women and of immigrant parents who use their novelas and beer as coping mechanisms in this country is heartbreaking. I can’t continue listening if his is what they allow on their show.
