I have never heard a person using so many words and saying essentially nothing. It’s time to roll up your sleeves, pick a side and fight for it whatever the issue might be. Stop worrying about pleasing everyone.

I found this show several years ago through his YouTube channel, and I have listened on and off since. The host seems to conduct thorough research on every current event or listener suggested topic he brings up on this show. His opinions are usually unbiased, which I appreciate. The VORW is my favorite podcast, and I only wish I could spare the money for a shortwave radio.

Thank you for everything that you do. I just recently found all this content. Everything so far has brought a calm to my life. A Calm to the Chaos. Thank you John.

I drive alot for work sometimes, and these long form easy listen podcasts are great. He talks about current issues, sometimes gives his opinion but it’s not an overly in your face one. I listen to the entire episode whether it’s an hour or 4. My only wish is it would be 2x a month instead of once but I know John after all the years and he does it when he’s in the mood. I’d disagree with any of the reviewers who say he has conservative takes— they are no more common then his liberal takes on some issues. He’s unique and entitled to have opinions and to change them as he ages, which is why we listen.

The show used to give the impression international news like the host claims it to be, but the truth has become more and more evident over time. From his negligence on covering issues of national importance, such as the January 6th insurrection, or the overturning of roe v. Wade, not to mention genius takes like “no one has really changed anything through protesting” and “if the powers that be will it, we could be welded in our houses from monkey pox”, he’s built a clear track record of only covering issues that benefit him, while presenting the illusion of being unbiased, and encouraging critical though Great if you’re a pseudo intellectual conservative, not good for much else

God made a podcast

Historically this is a good (and unique) podcast. However what makes it good - the unorthodox style and mentality of the host (John) - is a double edged sword. When John is clearly depressed or anxious, the podcast is almost unlistenable. And unfortunately that appears to have been the case lately. When this happens, it is apparent he’s going through the motions and it is an unpleasant experience as a listener. I recommend listening to the archive prior to 2021. Any of his marathon (3 hour+) episodes is a classic. He’s engaged, funny and much less cynical. Cynicism is fine, but this has basically been the only theme in recent episodes.

I love this show. John is a mellow, levelheaded, thoughtful commentator who fully believes in what he does. I don’t always agree with his take, but I never doubt that he has come to his opinions with adequate research and good intent. This podcast is on my “listen as soon as it goes live” list. I highly recommend.

It’s great to have your program(s) here on iTunes. The convenience and integration into this tech eco-system makes it available so easily for me. Love your lectures and keep being you my friend.

I listened to this gentleman every time I take my mom to the supermarket/Costco. While my mom takes her time shopping, I layback in my car seat, turn on my headphones, and then I just listen to him talk. Sometimes when I don’t finish an episode, I listen to the remaining during my break at work while I am alone. Thank you so much, you don’t know how much your podcast mean to me and I wish I was a little bit smarter and eloquent in my explanation.

I need this podcast like I need air to stay alive. Can’t live without it.

It is so nice to find any content that is not biased either way and is filled with filth or foul language , just a good clean show with interesting conversation.

I discovered John’s work on YouTube shortly before the pandemic. I enjoyed the food reviews. They are nothing compared to his podcast! We eagerly await every episode and love his wholesome, sincere, candid and quirky personality. He has no pretense. He discusses important and often difficult topics with kindness, vulnerability and empathy. I wish I could tune into his shortwave broadcast. Most of the broadcast times conflict with out schedule and it is difficult to get a clear signal. I hope he will consider releasing them in another format. Perhaps Patreon subscribers at a certain monthly level can access the shortwave shows digitally after they have aired. I would sign up and I’m sure I’m not alone!

If you only know Reviewbrah/ The Report of the Week from his food reviews, then you are missing out! He is thoughtful, insightful, funny, compassionate, and honest in a way you rarely get from entertainers. And don’t think this is a show about fast food, he rarely discuses that here. Expect discussion in the state of the world, shortwave radio, the need for civility, humorous anecdotes, and responses to listener questions.

Solid podcast, I would recommend it to everyone, It’s just great to listen to anything he talks about.

The show must go on. But I have an objection to his philosophy... If God is unknowable as well as purpose, how could you know that about God. That means you know God is unknowable, meaning he isn’t unknowable. Also if you’re saying we can’t accept absolute truth such as Christ crucified, how can we accept that statement is absolute truth. Logical Positivism is self contradicting. Any meaning that is made up and rests on fallible man will die just as the man dies and is ultimately meaningless and not true meaning. But our hearts tell us there is meaning and morals and God (this is not a evolutionary adaptation as the odds that every human regardless of time period and geographic isolation producing phycological traits such as this to adapt to completely different environments). Turn away from self performances and feelings and look out and rest on Christ crucified. There is immeasurable riches of grace and justification to rest on despite our great sins. His blood was poured to cleanse our souls.

I don’t care if he’s in the medical field the guy is misled. The Democratic Party is definitely trying to interfere with our lives with masks at minimum, and at the more detrimental end causing people to lose there jobs and mom & pop shops closing down forever. Yes it is a thing, but so far less detrimental than the flu. Get the real information and stop passing on fake info. Nothing against you review brah, but get informed by real information not just liberal propaganda.

He is a great speaker and discusses a multitude of topics, always trying to tackle them with an open mind. I highly, highly recommend the show!

John is incredibly eloquent and has very unique manner of presenting his thoughts whether they be in lighthearted discussion of his interests (like suits or NASCAR) or insight into the human experience and current events. Tuning Inyo his wonderful blend of perspective, subtle humor and overarching compassion for his listeners has become an integral part of my life as someone who lives with PTSD and general anxiety. His YouTube channel and podcast provide a place for me to turn to on sleepless nights, hard moments and just in general because I know I will always, always find something wonderful waiting for me.
