Really enjoy Mark, Jimmy, and Ryan. Always have great guest too! Cartridge talks are my all time favorite but even when the holiday cartridge talks are over, great content just keeps on coming! I drive for almost 2 hours per day every day and this show runs non-stop!

I like podcasts that make me feel as if I’m listening in on a cool conversation. It’s like visiting the relaxed atmosphere of an old gun shop.

You guys produce some great podcasts! The most fascinating ones to me are the ones involving ballistic gel and head to head cartridge wars! I think the mother of all bombs would be something like: you pick one cartridge like 308 from one rifle. You line up about 500 pounds of ballistic gel and then gather the full gambit of load options: core lokt 150 and 180, 165 sst, 178 eld-x, 185 Berger, barnes Ttsx 130 150 165, accubond 165, terminal ascent 175. Shoot up the gel and Then award gold, silver, and bronze medals for an all purpose hunting bullet. Keep up the great work.

Jeez I really can’t stand these guys. No clue at all about rifle cartridges. Just reading stats out of gun mags. Wish this crap show would quit showing up in my feed. I really dislike this show.

Have you guys ever considered a podcast dedicated to properly cleaning a precision rifle. Or how the pros clean their rifles. Thanks for all the great topic you do put out . Learned at lot over the years.

LOVED this episode and the idea for ballistic gel testing! Just like you guys, I love seeing those types of videos. Y’all can even make start a new trend like “Ballistic Battles” where you not only compare and contrast differing calibers, but score/judge them via ballistic gel data!

Bias disclosure: I only watch/listen for the cartridge discussions; can’t be bothered to hear more glass chats. I’d give it more stars if it spent a little more time talking tape and sprinkled in just a tad more (a little goes a long way) anecdotes of specific hunts, but I recognize that if it did it might not have as broad of appeal to the listener base as these types of programs have to have. All in all good ‚nuff

Very informative on many various topics.

From the genuine rapport the hosts share with one another and their guests, to the casual-yet-educational discourse, to the varied and interesting subject matter, one can rest assured of a good show no matter what. I have listened to so many drunk redneck gun podcasts - and I say this as a drunk redneck shooter - that this was a refreshingly sober and humorous take on the genre; there is no episode that fails to either educate or entertain or both with superb production value tacked on as a bonus.

This latest one kept driving me crazy with the one guy saying, yeah, ok, exactly, mhmm, yea every 2 seconds. The regular shows are usually great. I never leave bad reviews it jus drove me nuts.

This is literally my most listened to podcast show. Whether I am trying to learn about a particular topic being discussed or simply following for entertainment. Mark, Jim, and Muckipedia do a fantastic job with this podcast.

Just like sitting in a good gun shop with knowledgeable guys.. This is a great PC. Absolutely Awesome…

Absolutely love the information that comes from these experts. Look forward to every broadcast. But…..could do without the tension that clearly exists between Jim and Mark. When you two work together without the zingers the information is so much more authoritative and reliable. Thanks again for what you all bring to the table.

I love this podcast and love the ability to play at 1.5X while driving or at work. It’s very informational but I always have to go back to Youtube to get the visual information.

If you’re into shooting I can’t imagine anyone not listening to Vortex podcasts. Love listening to while reloading or just tinkering. 👍👍

I walked in to this one thinking “well, they’ll push their products and it might be an infomercial…” Not even close! Absolutely entertaining, extremely informative (even on topics that are outside my area of specific interest) and the production quality, clarity and audio levels are top notch. If there are other gun-centric pods that bring it as well, I’d like to find them, cause these guys are just fantastic.

Love the podcast lots of great information!! I mostly hunt mule deer and elk here on the east side of Oregon So i would go with 8x that is where i like to set my scope from 50-600 yards i have the viper pst with the FFP so i like the size of the recital right around there. Also with the first buck I shot, I was using an older 3x9 and at the time I didn’t know you could adjust the magnification.... so i was at 3x the buck was with a doe and I couldn’t see his antlers through my scope. I had to use my knockers to see which deer was the buck. It was a forky so they had similar sized bodies if it was it older buck probably could have been able to tell difference. Kept having to go back and forth between knocker and rifle took what seemed like 10 minutes until they both where standing still and i was able to see that the buck was lower on the hill and i was able to kill the buck. This was at 250 yards. The Buck didn’t make it 10 feet.

Ryan mentioned that his favorite Cartridge would probably be the .45-70. Would love to hear you guys talk about it!

I really enjoy when one or a group of you go off on what your passionate about like certain types of guns or ammunition and how it works. Speaking confidently about how something works wether it is DI or piston AR and ballistics on a style of ammo. Reminds me of "smarter everyday " on YouTube "Destin" works/ed for the DOD and is able to theorize how something works and that is fascinating to me. Ps check out his channel for some sweet shooting /suppressed sound barrier information

These guys have the best information and the best cast on a podcast anywhere

This podcast has always been up there when it comes to quality of content but Vortex, in my opinion has produced the best hunting technique podcast that I have ever listed to regarding high mountain hunting. Episode 133 is ridiculously filled with content for high country hunting (mule deer, elk, bear...etc). Lampers and Warren share their hunting knowledge success and failure for hunting these high country animals. As well as their daily thriving techniques for mountain hunting. I high recommend this podcast for any hunter that heads into the mountains to hunt. Vortex really hit a grand slam on this podcast and the content is only getting better! 5stars all the way and two huge 👍🏻 👍🏻😃

This podcast is absolutely awesome ! Probably the ONLY podcast i know to be so diverse. Not only is this podcast super informational on vortex products but on a variety of things from hunting, competition shooting, Beer etc. love it highly recommend it.
