After being introduced to logistics by his dad (who had a long career in rail transportation), Sean's first job after college was for JB Hunt as a supply chain analyst. Deep industry knowledge and a solid understanding of what the client wants to accomplish are two keys that Sean believes will separate Echo from our competitors. Sean also talks about his new role as CCO, his perception of Echo's challenges, where he sees our sales focus, and how he envisions our technology supporting our organizational growth.

On this week’s episode, Chris Wilkes shares his story. He tells Doug about how he came to Command, his struggles with the technology when he was a new rep, and gives insights about Echo’s culture today and his opinion on what small scale changes we should make within our sales organization to bring people together.

On this week's Voices of Echo podcast, Doug speaks with the President and COO, Dave Menzel. Doug and Dave take a journey back to Ormond Beach, FL, where he grew up, a Florida native. Dave discusses his college days at FSU and how he earned a Master's degree in Accounting. He takes us on a ride through the cycle of his first job to where he is today. He touches on some of the most important skills and lessons he learned that helped mold him into the person he is today. Dave joined Echo in 2008 and used those skills to assist in making Echo a publicly traded company, helped figure out the "Echo flavor of TL" and build the culture that represents Echo today. He gives his perspective on integrating Echo and Command, what is going very well, what we still need to improve on and how he see's nothing but a bright and prosperous future for Echo.
