Many times we are told the importance of saving - having money in your current account, saving for a house, a car, a business venture or even an emergency fund. Keeping your bank account healthy enables you to prepare for a day you may need to make a quick withdrawal. Similarly, it's important to bank the Word of God in your heart for your current situation (daily life) but also save for any time you need to withdraw God's Words to encourage you and keep you on the right path. Failing to save His Word in your heart may lead to unfaithfulness when you are tried or tempted. So we want to encourage/challenge you - find a different memory verse to bank in your heart each week, fortnight or month - whichever you think you can manage and equip yourself with the Word of God!
