Listening to Adam and Albert has become weekly ritual. Their show addresses concerns on how to navigate yourself in this world. Yes, they speak of empathy and compassion but they speak to the problems our world is facing and how to hold oneself in the face of those problems. Their guests are diverse and engaging. Parenting, not parenting, listening, not listening, coupling, not coupling, being married, being single... the show aims for and achieves a diverse target audience. Good for the metalheads as well as the classical music fans, for men and for their partners, empathy, compassion, loss and gain are well covered. As the title says, this show really rocks.

Awesome podcast!

I started listening to this podcast because a friend was on it and I wanted to listen to his episode. I have continued coming back to listen because I am honestly inspired and in awe of these men every time I listen. Hearing men talk so openly about their feelings and how they want to change the stigma around speaking out about mental health issues and being vulnerable gives me hope for the world. Listening to their stories, the way they are changing, growing, healing and unlearning the toxic masculine mindsets is beautiful to witness. Knowing that these men are fathers and are teaching their children these things gives me hope for the next generation of men as well. Adam and Albert, thank you for what you are doing. Even as a woman, and a lesbian woman at that, this podcast speaks to my heart. This work is the great work of the world that needs doing in the time we live in, keep it up!

I’ve been following Albert’s Instagram posts for awhile and this seems a natural extension of what he has to say. Jeans and boots, but mostly how to live a life of authentic kindness with a generosity of spirit. Wishing you both continued success.

As a school teacher for almost twenty years, I always appreciate learning new things. I’ve been following Albert’s feed on IG for over a year now, and he’s kinda become my fashion guru from afar. His overall style, kindness, and charisma are so welcoming to this world. We oft get trapped by our day-to-day busy lives, but Albert embraces the bold, colorful opportunities in the everyday! I’m a guy who loves bold fashion and often change my looks like a chameleon. I also happen to love to talk and listen to people’s stories. Adam and Albert couldn’t have teamed up at a more perfect time than now to do this podcast! Guys need guys. We need to talk. And by that, I don’t mean the usual sports, cars, weather, and tools. While these are real topics that can be of interest, A & A draw the curtains back even further to expose their feelings, life stories, and true selves. Even though I’ve never met these cool dudes, their obvious connection invites you into their bond of brotherhood. Currently, there is an obvious loneliness epidemic happening amongst men. We need each other for camaraderie, conversation, and advice. These guys pave the way for us to listen, open up, and realize things are going to be alright. Once we let our guards down a little bit, things just seem to get easier and don’t seem as stressful. Thank you A & A for taking this brave, bold step for us men, and for opening up your/our hearts and minds to educate all those that want a happier and healthier lifestyle. Adam and Albert, in their podcasts, are giving men a rare and unique opportunity for honesty and growth. Deep Dive conversations provide a unique and important platform for men to share feelings, fears and doubts that normally are kept secret; as an admission might reveal weakness or inadequacy. As Albert mentions in this early podcast, women tend to be emotionally healthier because they have the gift of sharing their lives with other women: whether it’s what goes on in the bedroom or whether they feel they have failed as a mother—-women feel safe revealing their doubts to other women. Vir Vulnerabilis Vir is an exceptional and unique avenue for men to reveal, discuss and explore personal thoughts in a safe platform. I am proud that my son, Adam, is brave enough to reveal previously hidden thoughts; and I thank Albert for joining Adam in this adventure and for recognizing Adam as a person who shows empathy and genuine caring for men who might be struggling with feelings of isolation and loneliness.
