E24: Tony Dominguez of WWU Basketball
Hear from WWU Men's Basketball Head Coach Tony Dominguez following the Blue-White Scrimmage held October 17, 2021 inside Carver Gym. The preseason opener marked the first time WWU has played a game in a real setting since February 2020. WWU opens the 2021-22 season November 12-13 in Carson, California with the CCAA/GNAC Challenge.

E23: Teagan Eldridge of WWU Men's Soccer
Hear from WWU Men's Soccer junior captain Teagan Eldridge as he talks about the Vikings 2020/21 season opener on Saturday, March 27 hosting the University of Puget Sound on Harrington Field (7 pm kickoff). Eldridge talks about the rapid rise of the Western program, which has resulted in a pair of NCAA championships appearances over the last four seasons (2016 & 2019) and the 2019 GNAC championship.

E21: Calahan Warren of WWU T&F
Senior WWU Track & Field distance runner Calahan Warren is interviewed after making his Viking debut and recording the 2nd-fastest time in program history winning the 5000m at the Doris Heritage Track Festival in 14:16.17. The mark was also the 6th-fastest in GNAC history. The Auburndale, Florida native is a transfer from Embry-Riddle University.

E20: Black History Month - Myles Smith
In Episode 20 of Viking Voices, we continue the month of content celebrating Black History Month in February. We got the chance to interview current Track & Field student-athlete (and school record-holder) Myles Smith, touching on a number of topics in the hour-long interview. Myles is a passionate leader on campus and in the community as an advocate for diversity and equity and supporting BIPOC students. Myles is also a writer and poet, and share with us a passionate poem about Black Lives Matter and discusses what Black History Month means to him and his family. In Episode 19 of Viking Voices, we continue the month of content celebrating Black History Month in February. Former WWU women's basketball player Kiana Gandy joins the podcast to talk about her career with the Vikings (which included over 1,000 points), what valuable life skills she learned under coaches Carmen Dolfo and Stacey Turrell, and talks about what Black History Month means to her and how her family plays a valuable role in that history. Kiana recently completed her Master's in Clinical Mental Health and works to support children experiencing adjustment disorders and trauma. Former WWU men's basketball star and current Long Beach Poly High School head coach Shelton Diggs joins the podcast to talk about a number of topics. From his playing days in Bellingham as a young black man, to jump-starting his coaching career under Brad Jackson and Tony Dominguez, and a lot about what Black History Month means to him. The common theme with Shelton that he has carried throughout his career is treating people with kindness and he carries that into his mentorship as a coach. E16: NFL Veteran and WWU alum Matt Overton
WWU Football alum and NFL veteran Matt Overton is the guest for Episode 16 of Viking Voices. Overton is the current long snapper for the AFC South Champion Tennessee Titans and will play in his 110th career NFL game this weekend in an AFC Wild Card showdown against the Baltimore Ravens. The Viking from 2005-06 talks about his career in the NFL, snapping for the game-winning field goal vs. the Houston Texans and shares memories of his time in Bellingham.
