Céline Leheurteux, DVM, CEO and founder of Vetceterra Solutions Active in small animal practice since 1999, Dr. Leheurteux is interested in the psychological aspect of veterinary practice with the purpose of optimizing relationships both within the care team and with clients. Through the years, she has developed a personalized approach to euthanasia, a defining medical act, one that has a huge impact both for the client and the veterinarian, and for which practitioners are not prepared well for during their University curriculum. Having suffered from the lack of training in euthanasia, she is committed to share her knowledge and clinical experience with veterinary teams to improve the experience of euthanasia for everyone involved in the process. In the last 5 years, she has attended international veterinary conferences and is on a mission to share the best of what she has learned in lectures on end-of-life and communication and in the clinic on her Practical Classes in Small animal Euthanasia  RACE approved CE platform . As she could not find anything on the market, it appeared inevitable to design a pet body bag that would respect the bond between the vet team, the pet and the family. Ecology is a core value that guided her choices in the design of EUTHABAG; she spent years researching and developing a leakproof pouch made from recyclable material that could be incinerated without doing harm to the environment. PVC although easy to waterproof was not an option because of its toxicity and the inability to integrate recycled material. In addition, the ink used for silkscreen printing is water-based. Concerned by animal and people welfare she participated in spay and neuter clinics in Costa Rica since she graduated. Celine is a mother of 3 that loves to ride poneys when she can leave the office!

Dr. Richmond is a graduate of the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine (UFCVM) and is the medical director at Country Oaks Animal Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. He currently serves as the chair of both the Florida Veterinary Medical Association’s Outreach and Professional Wellness & Wellbeing Committees. He is a member of the UFCVM wellbeing curriculum committee and lectures on wellbeing topics. Dr. Richmond is one of 3 co-founders of the Veterinary Wellbeing Collective and the founder of Flourishing Phoenix, a positive veterinary wellbeing consulting practice. He has also served on the board of directors of the Florida Medical Professionals Group, an organization that supports medical professionals in recovery in the state.

Dr. Christina V. Tran is a first generation Filipino-American raised  outside of Chicago, Illinois. After completing her undergraduate degree  at University of California, Davis, Dr. Tran received her veterinary  degree from University of  Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She has spent the majority of her  professional career in small animal private practice -- as a full-time  associate, relief veterinarian, and house call practice owner. In  addition, Dr. Tran has worked in shelter medicine and in  academia. She served as veterinary technology faculty at Portland  Community College and as veterinary technology program director at  Purdue University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Currently, Dr. Tran  is on faculty at University of Arizona College of Veterinary  Medicine as associate professor and Clinical Relations Lead  Veterinarian.

Nicole Clausen, CSSGB, CCFP, CVBL has over 13 years of experience  in the veterinary industry with over 10 years in small animal practice.  She worked her way up from receptionist to Operations Manager in various  clinics and understands the intricacies and internal workings of a  successful practice. A common theme she noticed in hospitals  across the country was a lack of inventory management, clarity, and  control, whereas her focus was to create a viable, profitable system  where there was only a void before. Her firm, Veterinary  Care Logistics, was born out of the demand by several industry leaders  to utilize her inventory system as a model throughout the country. She  specializes in helping veterinary teams create a streamlined and  efficient inventory management system.

Sarah's start in the veterinary industry came in 2011, when she was  hired as the marketing copywriter for the American Animal Hospital  Association. In her nearly 5 years there, she fell in love with the  profession and learned how to "speak veterinary" fluently. By 2016, the  need for standout veterinary writing became obvious to Sarah, so she  started her company, Rumpus Writing and Editing.  From blogs and social media posts to editorials and advertising  copy—whether pet owner- or industry-facing—if it could be written or  edited in the veterinary space, Sarah would do it. Jamie has worked in the veterinary industry since 2005. Worked in several clinics as an assistant/technician, client service representative, and manager for single doctor practices, multi-doctor practices, corporate practices, privately owned practices, and an emergency clinic.  Received her CVPM (Certified Veterinary Practice Manager) certification in August of 2017.  Jamie created Veterinary Practice Consulting, LLC in February 2020.
