Vegcast 96 is totally devoted to the CD Healthy Food for Thought: Good Enough to Eat, which benefits the NY Coalition for Healthy School Food and has been nominated for a Grammy Award. At the end of January a CD release party was held at the studio of Peter Max, who did the album cover, and we have audio from there and from afterward, with the founder of a restaurant that supplied excellent vegan pizza at the event, with mastermind Amie Hamlin and with so called Vegan Pimp Sharon Nazarian, plus a cameo appearance by desserts diva Fran Costigan. We also play a couple tracks from the CD and have a Science Fact about the importance of good nutrition for young children.
