Graba** Extraordinaire
Either do comedy or approach a subject seriously. I tried listening to the “Mary Celeste“ and made it about 1/3 of the way through. Total waste of time. If that episode is any indicator of the rest of the shows,“click“and try to find something that is polished and professional. The sad thing is, it could have been good. Just degradated into personal egos with mediocre results.

Liked it a lot at first
I loved th factual information. I started getting antsy during the courtroom questioning and by the time we got to cross-examination, I had to turn it off. It’s just ridiculous.

Always a pleasure!
It’s always a privilege to listen to their deep dive on any case they choose to explore. I cannot wait until the Jesse James series comes out!

Had potential
Came over from Cooper Vortex. Liked the premise but could do without the political opinions. The audio levels were awful. Why is the cohost woman’s mic so much louder than anyone else? The mixing was pretty bad

Loved the show until…
Loved the show until it got political. Please leave politics aside and allow the evidence to speak for itself.

Very much enjoyed the teams work on Jack & JW Booth, DB Cooper topics were very well down, and now the ultimate rabbit hole THE ZODIAC!

Whooo now! You all really ARE biting off a big story/investigation. Good luck. As less than an armchair detective (more of a sofa sleuth) Zodiac has intrigued me to the point of really researching the stories for the past ten years. I think you re off on the wrong foot (from the first episode anyway) I don t think you have consulted the right resources. But 1. I imagine you ll hear that a lot and 2. I m open to new info. However— when it’s solved— it ll be an eye opener. Like the Golden State Killer, not a monster or super villain; just a very disturbed human being.

Interesting
I give this podcast credit for research and delivery of information. Obviously, the presentation is intelligent and articulate. Unfortunately, their left-leaning political beliefs contaminate what could otherwise be factual reporting. For instance, the female host, when describing London in the late 19th century (Jack the Ripper episodes), makes mention of the rampant poverty and homelessness, which is deplorable and true. But then she makes the comparison to present day Austin , Texas. Uh, no, I don’t think so. Yes, as in many cities homeless encampments are prolific, but not because the people living there are escaping the conditions that mirror 19th century London. Anyway, I would learn more and enjoy listening to more, if they kept their college experience education indoctrination out of the reporting. It’s their podcast and they could do what they want with it, of course, but, should they care, I may unfollow if political correctness is overly infused in each episode.

Informative
I learned a lot about a subject I thought I knew.

Amelia was good!
I enjoyed learning a lot about Amelia that I didn’t know. Chris and Jen couldn’t keep their left leaning politics out of the John Wilkes Booth, how is there any comparison to today? I guess they forgot the left are the violent and racists ones. Listen to Amelia and then move on!

Hard to get through.
It was so hard to listen to an episode on a topic I’m pretty interested in. Here’s the jist:
Discusses a certain aspect of the topic.
“We will definitely talk about that later.”
Discusses a certain aspect of the topic.
“We will certainly discuss this more later.”
Then add a random sound effect and trying to guess whether or not people have mental illnesses.
Awful.

So good...
I came for Amelia stayed for John Wilkes Booth! I am admittedly a sucker for these types of podcasts but Jennifer Taylor is a rising star!

Not the AE case
The AE case was gripping, interesting, and extremely well formatted.
Sleepy Hollow sounds forced, overt scripted, and poorly written.

Cohost ?
Is the cohost 12 years old ???

Waste of time
Bailed after three episodes, painful, droning investigation into the disappearance of Earhart.

No
First episode is good. The following 5 episodes are literally the most boring and draining eps to listen to. He brings in 40000000 people to interview to kill time and it is so pointless.

Fans and admirers of AE, avgeeks, history nerds, or - well - even those who just crave a good mystery (arguably one of the greatest, if not “THE” greatest of all time), profiled in rich, compelling detail, and thus featuring a diverse and highly-knowledgeable panel of experts, both on the woman herself (and her most epical life, both within - and even well beyond the context of aviation’s colorful formative years), in addition to the various theories and hypothesis surrounding her storied disappearance, over eight decades prior, yet which nevertheless still manages to resonate as “relevant” all these years later, as well as continuing to occupy special place in the hearts and psyches of young and old alike, the world over, myself certainly included. In short, the host and his team succeed brilliantly in laying out the case in such a way and manner as to serve to transport the listener back in time - and thus straight into the pages of history, yet with the benefit of state-of-the-art technology and superior sound quality. A true auditory adventure for the ages...

Really enjoyed the 1st episode & love that the focus is on her life and the things that helped to shape her into the woman Amelia was
