Always engaging
Totally love this podcast. One of the first five was the story of Bishop Conley’s conversion and that of his parents. Beautiful story of family love. Also love the narrative throughout the interviews. Great addition to my weekly podcast listening.

Sara, Thank you for this podcast. It has certainly made a difference to me. I plan on sharing them with my prayer group. It’s hard to say I “enjoyed” the ones I listened to. Some saddened me, especially those that touch close to home. I plan on sharing them with my prayer group. The average length should work fine for our gathering.

Encouragement
Sara, you are doing a magnificent and significant work in creating this podcast. I have received much from it. I heard you express the difficulty you’ve had with it as of late, so I wanted to stop by and encourage you to keep on going! Is there anything I could do to help? Are you looking for assistance? I am from the DMV area :) Five Star Podcast!!!

Amazing!
I just stumbled upon it on accident and I am glad I did! The episode about anxiety and depression caught my eye so I decided to listen to it first. As a Catholic who has anxiety disorder, I have rarely heard Catholics talk about the issue with such nuance. I was hooked, and listen to the episode about Domestic Violence next. Sarah does a great job as the host and I am excited to keep on listening. :)

Finally!
A Catholic podcast that is in the genre of "This American Life!" I love the story telling: honest, vulnerable, relatable, faithful, pastoral. Thanks, USCCB!

Great podcast
I fully enjoyed the first 3 episodes. Great way to tell a story and let the listener take a peek into someone else’s life. I’m taking the time to write a review because I want others to discover this podcast too!

Have You Ever Wondered What Love Is Supposed To Be?
Full disclosure, Sara Perla’s parents are good friends and I watched her grow up and become the lovely, accomplished lady she is today. I may be a little partial, on the other hand, Daddy use to warn people not to ask my opinion unless they really wanted it because, “Beth doesn’t know how to lie.” I’ve listened to Sara’s first three podcasts and I can’t wait for more. She’s not teaching a course on what love is, she’s showing us different aspects of love. Her narrative, along with the stories told by the people she interviews, are compelling and she helps you understand love from the prospective of both a Christian and the Catholic Church. So far, Sara has explored conversion and Baptism, using love to care for someone who can’t speak, and when and why someone might want to consider having their marriage annulled (when love isn’t love). I know more than I did about all three topics and I got a chance to, just for a little while, take someone else’s journey in love the kind of love Jesus taught us.
