Hello mommios from around the world! Welcome BACK to US MOMMIOS, a podcast dedicated to mothers of the Cantonese community. As many of us know, Cantoneses is slowly being less taught everywhere. Although it might not be an official government language, Cantonese is still a unique dialect that can not be replaced. Many colloquial sayings and jokes can only be interpreted with Cantonese. I am a proud Cantonese mother working on passing our Canton culture and language to my son and the future generations. During this journey, I have met many other amazing Cantonese mothers, educators, and advocates who also share the same visions, missions, goals, and stories.
