We understand that this phrase, "We Need To Talk", might trigger some people into a thing to run away from, fear, and not want to hear. We as a family, married couple, and even now as believers that are friends with each other, are starting to see that communication has a fear and a stigmatism to run and avoid, or just take "i'm ok" as no news is good news, or there's not a call to do anything instead of asking "how are you doing really?" and leaving opportunity for talking.  Being transparent and leaving that open door policy can let in some good wisdom, and understanding.
