This episode marks the end for season 1 of Uplift LA.    Wow, we went from a recent alums experience at CSUF, to a couple episodes with some current students working for Titan TV CSUF, to an Los Angeles and Orange County sales professional looking to expand into the real estate realm, to a CSUF alum that graduated at the beginning of the pandemic that has had success as an on-camera personality and broadcast reporter.  In the next season, I look to expand the scope of our guests – as many of our guests were current or recent CSUF students.  Not that that’s a bad thing, as I am super proud of the work and connections I’ve made with students during my almost decade long tenure at Cal State Fullerton.    But I have many connections from my degree programs that I am excited to bring to the table.  If you are interested in being on the show, whether you know me, are an acquaintance, or just would like to be on the show as you found it inspiring, and have an inspiring story to tell, please reach out to me on my website!

This episode focuses on telling a story - becoming an on-camera personality and reporter.   Ryan Matthey has been a multimedia journalist and reporter since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, after graduating from CSUF.  During his time at CSUF, he was an intern for Titan TV his last semester and was a host of a number of our shows such as The Report and OC News.

Ryan Arceri has worked in sales for over a decade and recently earned his real estate license.  He also holds an MBA in business from the University of Redlands, a BA in sociology from Cal State Long Beach, and a teaching credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills.

This episode focuses on versatility and diversification of your portfolio to enter the workforce. Gavin Ong is working on his bachelor of arts in communications at Cal State Fullerton. During his time at CSUF so far, he was Titan TV’s executive producer for one semester before becoming production coordinator.
