Erasing women
I encouraged my assistants to listen to this podcast as I’m a Montessori guide and I love the content. I did however have to warn them that some people interviewed participate in women’s erasure and don’t do it very well might I add. Now all I hear are people correcting themselves mid-convo. “…during a females cycle… I mean person who menstruates… can best understand her cycle… er…. Theirs”… come on you guys. You know you value women. Say the word woman. Don’t erase us while talking about the people we birth. It’s preposterous. Your bio is “prioritizing biological norms over social norms” and the whole women’s erasure thing could not be further from that description. I believe in you tho.

This podcast saves lives!
A group of passionate, independent-thinking guests interviewed by a genuine host. This podcast lifts of curtain and lets us peer into the absurd aspects of our society/social norms, and the history of how these wacky ways became normal, and how we can get back on track to a more natural and in tune lifestyle with our little ones. Listening to this podcast gives me the courage to follow my instincts as a parents in the midst of judgment and adversity.
Thank you Emily for dedicating your time to find these insightful guests and making this wonderful podcast. It is truly beacon of light is these strange times.

Great podcast for new parents!
This podcast is wonderful for parents that want to raise children in a way that fits with our biological norm. The expectations we have for moms and babies in our culture is so far off from what nature intended. I have a 14 month old son and started off my mothering journey stressed and worried that I was doing things “wrong” my breastfeeding on demand and to sleep and cosleeping. I slowly started to learn over the first year of his life that all of this was normal and I was doing myself and my son justice by parenting this way. I wish I could have listened to these podcast interviews before having my son! Such a great resource!

evidence-based alternative lifestyles
I love how this podcast addresses parenting/lifestyle choices that may seem radical or too alternative from an evidence-based perspective. Lots of amazing resources for parents or even people like myself who don’t have children yet.🙌🏼
