Mesmerizing, nuanced, brilliant, needed
Mesmerizing, nuanced, brilliant, needed. My favorite podcast of all time!!! This series is a true gift to all listeners. It’s eminently bingeable and full of wisdom. The hosts pour their time, energy, creativity, brilliance, and collective enormity of knowledge to tell captivating stories. By listening, we learn how applying nuance and attention to the roots of violence and trauma gives us the critical lens to bring true healing to community. This show contributes beautifully to witnessing and upholding survivors, who we silence when we try to ignore the violent shadow side of human existence on this planet. Never gratuitous, never for a moment boring, this is the podcast to accompany us on the wild journey that is living.

A must listen!
I’m not an usual podcast listener, but this is the first podcast I could sit fully through! The hosts are amazing and hilarious, and really touch on all the deeper levels of true crime you’ve always wanted to hear. Such fascinating cases too!

The perfect intersection of the disturbing and the disturbed
The two ladies who host this are both funny and well versed in the topics of the podcast. It’s awesome to hear people educated in psychology and social justice talk about true crime. Definitely fills a slot I didn’t know needed filling on my podcast queue. Keep up the good work! Also Shaena’s laugh is awesome.

Best kind of true crime
Love that y’all actually talk about the causes of crime (racism, misogyny, patriarchy, poverty etc.) and are critical of the police + care about the people who are killed and not just the gory details
