Honestly my favorite podcast in the genre ( tied with bedtime stories) really well produced and not full of annoying banter. Wish new episodes came out more frequently.

Usually, I never listen to horror stories because like I just get creeped out by them. I was really bored so I started listening to this one and oh my God it’s so good.

best podcast and it’s really hard for me to listen and stay listening to any podcast. What I like is that the story is told by the person it happened to without any interruption and few questions at the end.

I’m so glad I found this podcast. This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. Similar to Radio Rental but more engaging stories without the cheesiness. I prefer this one over all of the other similar podcast because this is a first-person narration. I also like that they play the news clips at the end that relate to the story and how the host will ask the narrator/interviewer questions. They should do something to get their name out there more - I found this when I asked ChatGPT to give me something similar to the Radio Rental podcast. I think if more people knew about this podcast, they would love it too!

Ok so I find this and I just wanted something scary and It was true and it just blew my mind on how good it was.

Really like the show, but the music is so loud in comparison to the narrative part of the show. It’s pretty jarring and hurts my ears when listening with headphones.

This is hands down my favorite podcast for all things creepy and strange! I love that Chris, the creator, gets straight to the story—no small talk or filler, just eerie tales told by the people who actually experienced them. It’s refreshing and so captivating. If you’re into chilling, real-life stories that dive right into the weird and unexplainable, this podcast is a must-listen. Highly recommended!

I came across a Reddit rec for your podcast and I binged it all in a week! I’m always on the hunt for firsthand stories told by the experiencer and this does not disappoint. I hope there’s more to come😁

I was recommended this show by a family member and I’ve been obsessed! As someone who is a big fan of Radio Rental, I find Unnerved to be right up my alley. The stories are very interesting and the structure of the episodes are easy to follow. I enjoy that the stories are told by those who experienced them and that there are follow up interview questions to add more information about their experiences.

This podcast is an incredible addition to the very few first person reports of strange or frightening experiences that are shared on pods. Just truly well done, almost perfect editing, and a gem in the podcast world of this genera. Thank you so much!

It’s entertaining and the delivery and editing are good. I’m a little skeptical of the Buffalo River shooting episode though. They were swimming in a river in December? The guy had a handgun in the back of his shorts as he sat in an inner tube in the river? Nevertheless, it’s an entertaining podcast.

Unnerved was recommended to me since I also listen to Radio Rental, and Unnerved is now a favorite. I binged all of it in one day! Chris is a natural & engaging storyteller, and the story topics are so odd and gripping. I also love the conversations & storytelling between him and Jeremiah during Banter episodes. Give this a listen, folks!!

This podcast is like a conglomeration of all of my favorite scary story telling podcasts. The production is really solid, the stories and their tellers are all captivating, and I love the addition of supporting documentation of similar events. I enjoy Chris as a host, he really highlights the story teller and supports the story as much as possible. Not to mention, the intro is so nostalgic and awesome and I really can’t see what else will come from this Podcast.

I’ve been thoroughly enjoying listening over the past few weeks. I like to satisfy that need for rather spooky stories without feeling truly disturbed, and this fits that niche for me. Still, when I’m in the workout room listening to this by myself it keeps me on my toes haha. Although he hits some classic spooky topics hit on by other podcasts, he’s come up with stories I’ve never heard, not to mention there’s something compelling about stories of everyday people in wild situations. They’re stories you won’t really find anywhere else in those cases.

Looking forward to checking out more episodes of this show. I am especially intrigued by UFOs and murder mysteries, so I can tell this will be right up my alley!
