100% of all lodges have a holy book, in America it's usually the King James Bible, in the middle of the lodge and is the standard by which all Masons conduct themselves accordingly by the oath taken on it. Freemasons are simply a Fraternity like a college fraternity that teach life lessons and strive to be better men. Our lessons and means by which we teach one another are kept to ourselves as trade secrets. Freemasons are international and have many cultures that abide and band together within it. I feel this article is too narrow and specific to just American lodges and is lost on the shallow mind.
