Brie Sodano is a personal finance expert and the founder of Sheep to Shark, a financial planning firm that works with people who aspire to be financially successful. After seeing hundreds of people financially naked, Brie has developed a process that helps clients learn to accurately assess beliefs about money that affect the way they behave, identify and implement solutions to the “disappearing money syndrome,” align their actions with goals, and embrace habits that build wealth. Her successful strategies come from years of personal experience working one-on-one with her clients and the realization that people of all income levels are living paycheck to paycheck. The barrier to wealth is getting your financial house in order, and Brie believes that anyone can be wealthy if they’re willing to put in the effort to learn how money works. Now Brie focuses clients on solving money problems—such as the issues that make people routinely overspend on things they don’t really need and don’t make them happy. She developed The Invisible System, the key program to learn how to successfully manage your money, as well as Find Your Bleed, which helps to streamline expenses, eliminate waste, and identify low-joy purchases. Both programs are part of her Shark School program and have helped hundreds of clients start their journey towards financial success. Caitlin with Rock Rose Yoga joined us today to discuss life as a trauma and ER nurse during the start of the Pandemic in 2020 and how some personal trauma led her to Somatic Release Yoga. Caitlin is an Emergency & Trauma Registered Nurse. She is also a Trauma-Informed 200 hour trained Registered Yoga Teacher. She has done specialized trauma training through Yogafit for Warriors; yoga for TBI (traumatic brain injury) and PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder.) Sharing tools for stress reduction & trauma healing has become her passion. Somatic Release Yoga ™️ is an alternative yoga practice backed by scientifically proven techniques which reduce stress, anxiety & release stored tension and trauma from the body. In this (all levels and ages inclusive) trauma-sensitive class, she’ll teach you gentle yoga stretches, breathwork, tension and trauma releasing movements, meditation practices & tools to restore balance to your nervous system. Classes will release long held stress & tension from your body & leave you feeling relaxed and deeply restored. While classes are helpful for everyone, they are highly recommended for healthcare workers, frontlines, first responders, military, victims of violence or abuse & those in addiction recovery. Caitlin hopes to arm you with stress relief tools to take with you into your everyday lives & reach those who suffer from stress, anxiety, trauma & PTSD but might not normally try yoga as an alternative treatment.

New Year, New You! We call bs on that one. We don’t wake up on January 1 of a new year after some fairy godmother waived her wand on us while we slept to make us this new better version of ourselves. Though that is a fabulous thought. How about we change the narrative to New Year, Better Choices?
This week we are discussing all the things that come with a New Year. Do you make giant resolutions and goals but fall flat on those by February? We are over here raising our hands on that one. We decided this year to change the toxic thinking of this magic thought of New Year, New You! We are sorry (but not really) to break the news to you, but that is not a thing. Let’s set realistic goals with attainable action steps to make better choices than we made last year.
Join us Wednesday, January 5, 2022, and change your narrative with us! Happy 2022 and cheers to making better choices in this new year.
