Thankful for how edifying this podcast is. Expect to be encouraged when exhausted, challenged when numb, and pointed back to Christ no matter what. Isaac and Austin take their slogan to “tak[e] racial struggles to the throne of grace” seriously as they pray at the end of each episode. Someone has once said, “It happens after prayer,” (HB Charles, I think) and these men are committed to that truth.

Extremely helpful and genuine podcast. Helps me to think more deeply about timely and difficult topics which extends to having those conversations with believers and others alike. Also helps to show me areas of hidden faults and challenges me to grow in understanding with a Gospel centered lens. Helps especially to learn how to lovingly engage with neighbors who think differently about racial struggles.

This podcast is fair, honest and challenging. Austin and Isaac are thoughtful, inclusive and very knowledgeable about the Word of God. This podcast claims it’s about prayer, but the hosts and authors primarily use it as a platform to advance social justice ideology and chastise “white Christians” for not being woke.

This podcast has lived up to its aims! It affirms the hope and truth found in the Bible, our foundation. It benefits me personally as it informs my mind on issues I need to be more familiar with and my heart to be more like Christ. What is put forth is clear, humble, and wise. Every time I listen I am encouraged, I learn something, and I am filled with hope as we pray together for the unity that Christ himself prayed for us to have. Thank you!!

Isaac, just found the podcast this weekend and I'm hooked. God has had the issues of race and the church on my heart for months now as I've been reading, listening and learning from new voices. Perfect timing to find this as I am yearning for action to be reminded that "prayer is action," as Trill said in EP.1. Looking forward to catching up seasons and spending the time in prayer with you. Thank you for doing this!

Isaac and Trillia are exemplars of trusting God and loving the bride of Christ. Praise God for what he is doing in and through them.

I am so thankful for this podcast. It is balanced in it's approach to such a delicate conversation. It is also refreshing to hear Isaac and Trillia continually point out that it is only through the very cross and flesh of Christ that true peace and unity can be achieved. To top it off, they then pray that the Lord would achieve it. They have both encouraged me to not lost hope about seeing a unified church and to likewise pray more to see a unified church this side of heaven.

In the heights of all the racial tensions among us, this podcast reminds me of what I should be doing about it, first and foremost: pray. I'm not only thankful for the clear and relevant topics and discussion, and the wonderful guests, but the fact that prayer is at the center of the podcast. Prayer should be the center of our race discussions, especially in the church.

John 13:35 is well taught in many conversations on this excellent, fun, upbeat podcast on racial reconciliation. As a white, middle class, politically conservative, southern American, I've had a lot to learn on this subject. The episode with Dr. Matthew Hall serves as a beautiful example for how to have Christocentric biblical conversations concerning race that pay close attention to historical truth and yet are undergirded with grace, compassion, and love. The beautiful distinction of this podcast is that it literally takes us to our knees to plead with God for salvation and justice.

Wow—that episode was on point! I missed my quiet time w the Lord this morning, but decided to listen to that podcast on my commute into work; the podcast fed my soul just as much as my devotion time. Matt Hall, Trillia, and Isaac brought the word. I felt spiritually nourished, as well as educated through the podcast. I appreciate how much scripture was woven throughout the discourse. And Trillia praying scripture as the end was certainly powerful. I can’t wait to hear more from United? We Pray!

Trillia Newbell, Isaac Adams, and their guests encourage listeners to set our hope fully on Christ as we go together to God in prayer. As others have said, this is much needed. They discuss specific aspects of sin we're grieving and grace we're pursuing. These discussions are sobering and convicting, deeply thoughtful and helpful. They speak the truth in love, with an anchored hope in the gospel that grapples with the gravity and pain caused by racial disunity and injustice. Finally, it is a gift to join with them in actually doing what we're admonished to do--pray. We pray in faith, and as we pray, our faith grows.

This program is very impressive. I'm so thankful for the topcis, conversations, guests, and prayers. So timely in my life.

This podcast has educated me through "blissful" ignorance, challenged me to not remain silent, and empowered me to trust the Lord first through prayer. As a young white man, I CHOSE to ignore what was going on in our world and in the Church. I felt maybe it was easier to act like the problems weren't really there. I thank you two for challenging the Church to acknowledge where we have fallen short, and to take action. I also thank you for the sobering reminder that, without God, we will not see true racial reconciliation in our church's, workplaces, and communities. If I could walk away with only one thing, it would be: Let our prayers not be reactive to the ever present, and ever increasing horrific events that continue to occur. But let them be proactive as to the growth of unity and reconciliation in our Church.

I appreciate how thoughtful, honest and transparent the hosts and guests are about the issue of race in the church. It is a conversation that is difficult to have but so needed. The fact that prayer is the focus shows the humility of the podcast. I believe God is using this!

This podcast had been both convicting and encouraging. Further, United? We Pray is distinctly Christian. It’s not only distinctly Christians, it also distinct among Christians podcasts because of it’s focus upon prayer to God for a most difficult, complicated and often divisive issue: race. United? We Pray serves a most critical function of doing what all Christians most need to do with regards to the race conversation: prayer. Thankful for the example provided by the Co-hosts in taking this important matter to the Lord in prayer and instructing me to do the same.

Injustice, hate, racism, anger, and violence is rampant in this sinful world. Many times, heartbreak can build up to no end, only leading to hopelessness or bitterness. One thing we see throughout the Pslams is how to process all emotions and frustrations of this world through prayer, finding a restful end in the person and work of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. This podcast has been especially helpful for me, as I've been asking the Lord how to process the heartache of this present age. I am grateful for Isaac and Trilla for their succinctness in assessment and intentionality in prayer. This is far and away the best podcast I've ever downloaded.

Prayer is the predecessor to mercy and we need mercy and to extend it. I’m so thankful for this podcast and the opportunity to learn and grow alongside my brothers and sisters in the faith. We need each other now more than ever, to declare that the Body of Christ is made for oneness and unity!

This podcast is engaging, thought-provoking, and spiritually refreshing. The power and importance of prayer cannot be understated in the Christian life. Isaac and Trillia do an excellent job of encouraging and modeling humble prayer for unity in the church over racial issues. It is a blessing to be able to join in prayer for the church with them!

Too many of these conversations neglect the importance of prayer, and this is a foundational podcast for believers seeking to honor God as they pursue unity in diversity.

There are a lot of podcasts worth listening to and this is most certainly one of them. But this one was special because the participants boldly and biblically addressed important issues AND then led the listener in a time of expectant prayer. As someone passionate about racial justice and God's multiethnic kingdom, this podcast is a humbling and important reminder that our first job as Christians is to pray. Thanks Isaac and Trillia!

Isaac and Trilla speak such truth that we are already united in His Spirit, and it is the enemy who wants to divide us. Righteous debate and frustration divide, but prayer and listening to God unite us. We are right where God wants us when we spend more time praying and listening to Him. This podcast isn't about talking about prayer, but it is prayer. I look forward to praying along and hearing from God to help me see God's love and acceptance. When I see and experience hurt and hate, I want to learn to recognize who the real enemy is and find healing rather than sweep it under the rug. May God do mighty things in our own hearts as we pray.

It's easy to be so distracted by news and social media and politics and current events and sports ... and we forget that Jesus reigns. What a blessing to join together in prayer to ask that we would be united more and more in the Prince of Peace, displaying the glory of God in a church full of people from every tribe and language and people and nation. "For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility by abolishing the law of commandments expressed in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man in place of the two, so making peace, and might reconcile us both to God in one body through the cross, thereby killing the hostility." (Ephesians 2:14-16, ESV)

In a world of full of great divides and brokenness may this be a place of healing and God reliance. Praying with you all and praying for understanding in the body of Christ as we unite in prayer and under CHRIST. Our unity points to His Glory and this is beatiful. We need more of this. We need Jesus.

This is a much needed podcast. We need to remember to rely on the power of the Gospel. So much hatred being displayed within the church. The only way we maybe reconciled because of the sin of ethnic hatred is through prayer and Christ!

United We Pray is an important podcast for the church today. We must certainly do more than pray, but we cannot do less than pray. I remember reading a blog post from Trillia on this prayer in the midst of racial strife shortly after Charlottesville. I thought to myself how often we multiply our voices on issues of race without ever unifying our voices in prayer. Needless to say, we need this podcast.
