United Digital Nomads
The advantages to working remotely are many. What's lost is human connection. Founder Ric Pratte saw this as a solvable challenge in Asheville, NC. In 2021, AVL Digital Nomads formed as a Meetup group to bring these remote workers together. The membership for the Meetup group has grown to 2500+ since its inception in June of '21. With hundreds of events and success stories, combined with the trend toward an exponentially growing number of jobs going remote, Ric and team decided to take this social community framework beyond Asheville.
Thus, United Digital Nomads was born.
