Being from Oregon I wanted to like this. I just felt it was boring. I was listening to an episode and they started talking about their day, week. Which is fine but it went on for 20 mins and nothing related to the episode. I stopped after that.

Almost 20 minutes in before story starts on a recent episode. Really want to like this podcast.

Love hearing fellow Oregonians discuss some of of my favorite topics.Well researched, great choice of subject matter, and wonderful dialogue between the two hosts! The old Oregon State Hospital was great to hear other talking about.I can remember driving up I-5 and seeing it and feeling pure sadness and for lack of better words ‘creep’.I’ve always wanted to learn more.

Had the opportunity to get acquainted with these podcast hosts this weekend at the Pacific Northwest Crime Festival; before even having a chance to listen to the show, I was impressed by their vibe; inquisitive, compassionate and kind. I marathoned three episodes and now I’m hooked. Start from the beginning of the show to get to know them as they lead you through some pretty challenging case. I love that there is a really reasonable “Mom” perspective on several of the cases that goes woefully missing in many true crime shows. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

I love this podcast! Every episode is so different, I never get tired of listening.

These ladies are really awesome. As an Oregon native it’s really cool to hear about stories from around here but also topics outside the PNW from another local’s perspective. But I have a confession. So they release episodes on Sunday night usually right? I have to listen to any of the paranormal episodes on Monday so it can be daytime and not freak me out! 👻🛸

I have never been a fan of true crime. But my husband started listening to you guys on long drives. And I’m hooked. I love that you guys are in Oregon. And I love the banter that you both have.

From Medford, currently living in Eugene and it's so interesting to hear names of places I know so well and grew up in! Oregon is and always has been a strange place...I love hearing about all these cases and thank you for treating them with such respect! Most true crime shows/podcasts I've listened to glorify cases for entertainment value and things like that so I really appreciate you guys! 💚

If you are into true crime, this is a great podcast. If you’re from Oregon/Pacific Northwest AND are into true crime, this is an AWESOME podcast. The beauty of this type of media is that there is so much room for flexibility in each episode. Yes sometimes the intro is longer in one episode than another, but that helps the listener get to know the hosts on a deeper level. These folks are doing a wonderful job in sharing these stories.

As an Oregon resident, I’m very excited to learn about all the stuff that happened or is happening in this beautiful state! Thank you girls!

I’ve always been interested in true crime. I love to learn all the details about a case and how they were solved. Unexplained Oregon does a fantastic job feeding my true crime addiction, while putting cases in terms that I can understand. They also offer suggestions on how I can be more aware of my surroundings and how to handle dangerous situations. Highly recommend!

I’m a long time fan of true crime and avid listener of similar podcasts like MFM and Crime Junkie but recently found this podcast while searching for podcasts closer to home. I love it! I appreciate your authenticity, the respect you bring to the cases you cover, and your friendship is so sweet- it reminds me of me and my besties. Keep rockin’ it, ladies! And don’t change your pottymouths- apparently it’s a sign of intelligence!!

Very annoying and unnecessary how they converse amongst each other. Would be much more enjoyable if they just talked facts about the case.

No intro music makes you focus on their speaking which leaves a lot of room for improvement. I found myself losing interest very quickly because it took so long for them to get to the actual topic. If I have to rewind or jump forward constantly, it’s not a good thing! Please focus on your topic and minimize the personal small talk.

i love how casual your conversations are- it feels like i’m just sitting in on a coffee date ❤️ and you have genuine and kind approaches to the stories. i feel safe with you two 😘

The beginning is like a phone call between you both and you guys really don’t get to the point/start of story quickly. I hate having to skip in the beginning of a podcast. It should grab attention not deter. Also, subliminally slamming conservatives was noted and I think murder podcasts should remain unbiased.

Just started listening. I feel like the gals are still finding their vibe. Plus 2020 was a crazy year so some of the odd gaps and conversation are to be expected. I can’t tell you how nice it is to listen to a podcast that IS NOT POLITICAL. I so so so appreciate that! Not my favorite podcast but I still enjoy it. Also. For the two nasty reviews talking about how their is too much cussing? Get over it. The podcast says “Explicit”. Too much cussing isn’t a review. One of the gals that left a review about cussing has “Karin” in part of her user name haha so go figure. Keep it up gals, your passion is shining through!

Being from Oregon, I was excited to see a true crime podcast just about our lovely state, but I was extremely disappointed. It’s mostly their opinion and conjecture, not facts. They’re repetitive and talk about their personal opinion more than the actual case. It just isn’t a good true crime podcast. Very disappointing.

A 20 minute introduction on a 45 minute episode? It’s really hard to want to listen to this when almost half of it is not relevant to the cases? Being an Oregon native I had more expectations, sadly disappointed right now, hoping this changes. Also one of the hosts says “uhhh” “and uhhh/umm” probably 200+ times an episode, it’s brutal.

I so badly want to give you two a five star. I love the empathy you have for the victims, and the range of stories you have. My one issue is the amount of off topic conversation you have before you start on the actual topic.

You know you can tell a story without cussing so much, right? Total turn off. Won’t be listening again.

Stay true to your roots. You are a great podcast! I love you gals just the way you are. You are doing amazing. Hope to see you do a Malheur County Oregon case sometime.

I’ve been listening to podcasts for 6 years now. There are a couple of turnoffs. You guys have one. I know it’s true crime and the stories aren’t pretty , but you can tell them without using trashy language. The one lady used the word M*****F***** about 15 times , just in half of one episode. Clean up your mouth and I might listen again.

These ladies are fun and informed and balance each other in an engaging, humorous dialogue. Listening to them is like a conversation in my head or with my friends, infused with fascinating knowledge fed by their lifelong fascination with unexplained events. Love the balance of exploring historical events and unique human perspectives. Can’t wait for the next episode!

I would like to start of with LOVE this podcast - next I wanna ask if you take submissions ..? I have an interesting “cold case” that happened on oregon in the 90’s

I have started listening to this fellow Oregon podcast and these 2 women are easy to listen to. I find their voices to be pretty comforting, in a cool mom way. Lol They have been covering some pretty big cases for our state of Oregon so far, which I love. Highly recommend! 💙
