I really enjoy this podcast, but then the narrator reads dialogues and starts using a weeping voice, I really want to turn this off. No one talks like this.. However, the stories are heavily edited with AI and have all the same adjectives. Also, every episode narrated by AI is utterly annoying.

The newer one hour long stories are hella AI. I ran some text through an ai generation Decetor. It said it was 70% AI made. Just get stories from Reddit, there are tons of good ones on there.

The narrator’s voice is easy to listen to. And I love the stories. It was so weird. I’ve been subscribed to this podcast since the beginning. I found myself unsubscribed even though I didn’t perform the action…weird. I only noticed because I didn’t see a new episode…Just thought to let you know

These stories are the only ones that I find scary

At first, I thought it was just me, but it seems that almost every, or almost every story on this podcast is about a Skinwalker. It’s exhausting and shows either a lack of vetting different stories or just making up the same kind of stories over and over again. I can almost predict how all of them end.

Although I agree with 2 comments down below, about it being legitimately narrated in the past and now it’s AI narrated . I cannot give a negative review , what people don’t realize is that a negative review or a 1 star rating affects businesses . As a business owner I’d give 5 stars regardless and then comment on my opinion . Don’t be a Karen honestly . With that being said, I think the podcast is great , love horror and unexplained cryptic things and even though I’ve heard a very few stories that I’m on the fence about , it still my favorite form of entertainment. I don’t even use YouTube anymore because of this podcast. So Darkness prevails .. keep up the good work !

I’ve listened to almost every single one of these episodes and they’re so good. Plus I’ve been thinking about submitting some of my dad’s allegedly true stories that happened to him.

I’m very picky when it comes to all things horror, and a sci-fi, but after my first listen to UE, I was hooked. It’s a very important part of my day to day, and I tell everyone to have a listen. Thank you for sharing all of the fantastic stories!

usually i go for expo but he doesn’t make enough. i would like more stories that are just 1 story that is 1 hour long or 1 hour and 30 mins. id change it to 5 stars and id subscribe or donate or whatever. the 4-5 stories per episode is annoying sometimes. i liked the most recent ones about the Appalachians and this guy visiting his brother and they went hunting and got home safely after seeing it and then it came to their house and took his brother. and the one about the car crash in the snow… idk its just alot better then the short stories. thanks darkness prevails. maybe i can send one of my stories one day. update april 2nd 2026. we appreciate anything you toss at us! i think ppl like me do like the long stories but we also like the combos too! we all love you and your network regardless and have since the beggining! i’m newer, but ive already gotten to the point ive gotten to your 2022-21 years. this podcast is literally the reason i can enjoy falling asleep again. for a while i could really find a decent podcast that made me excited and i found this and my night routines and even schedule have gotten much better. i have to restart the episode soemtimes a up to a few times obviously i don’t want to miss out on the juicy stories thet are hand selected by you! i think i might possibly be scared of the dark again because of how good your story telling is! ok ok, ill stop the glazing lol XD!!! but seriously we love you regardless if its 1 story 4 stories, 8,9,10 or even a 50!! either way, our love remains at a 5 star! but i know you read these comments! any somewhat decent network/company whatever it may be, can be the best podcast without reading what the people think about it! i just wanted to remind you, i wont give up on this podcast, and i would hope other wouldn’t either just becuase they think it might be too many short stories. there a huge smile on my face anytime new episode comes out no matter what the title says. i meant to throw it on earlier but i fell asleep somehow watching tv (i cant sleep with tv) but anyways, its 1:45 est rn, i got to get myself back to sleep, tossing my earbuds in but i heard you intro and wanted to type this out and im going to force myself to stay awake for this one forsure and then follow it up by an episode ive already heard! they never get old! thank you for what you do. seriously it means a lot of a lot of people including me <3 much much love!

I really appreciate how the stories are creepy without being gruesome. The only sound effects are ambience and not gore. I wanna be scared and not disgusted and I love that this podcast does that

The narrators voice is my favorite! I love the new thing he is doing where he talks about a longer story for the entire hour long episode. The compilations are great too but I love a long story! Keep doing what you do… it’s working and evolving perfectly

I am a big fan of scary stories and this guy gets it good I love hearing the podcast when I got nothing to do and it hits, great stories and a non monotone annoying voice it’s good however I don’t like the part where there’s an ad in the actual podcast but overall it’s a good show highly recommend

I used to really love this podcast. It used to require that stories be allegedly true and at least believable before they would include them in the show and they would include several stories per episode. The past several weeks it seems like they're only including one story per episode, and they are very, very clearly, almost insultingly obvious, written by AI. I'm really bummed to see the direction this show has taken. I'm sorry, but I gotta unsubscribe if this is the vibe the host wants for the show now.

I have been listening to this podcast for a while and love it!! While some of episodes get pretty scary, some are mid scary and some are nothing but a beautiful spiritual story. I love the range. The narrator’s voice fits the stories perfectly. The stories are well-written, with no annoying slang. I definitely recommend!! ALSO DONUT GOOBER YESSSSS (from a previous review)

I like the new single story episodes you have been doing it’s refreshing to even hear darkness share his own story. BUT I feel like you might be disappointing your faithful followers who write into the show in the website hoping to get featured and then dissapointed when they don’t get featured. All im saying is maybe mix it up from week to week? Maybe do more than one upload a week at a time on each of the shows? Idk. Or maybe skip one show to do two uploads on unexplained or two on tales from the break room? Just some food for thought. Keep it up my guy🤙

The podcast is kind of fun to listen to but allllllll of the episodes are fake. But the episode that really made me want to review was 24? I think? “Skinwalker loose in Australian countryside “? SO FAKE. This guy “made a “molotov cocktail” WHILE RUNNING? Like you just happen to have a bottle of flammable liquid in a glass bottle with a rag and a lighter on him? Please don’t really seem like “hiking essentials”. How stupid do these guys think their listeners are?
