Forget about the Rowdy Boys, meet the new Mellow Boys! There's something funny about this episode... like a stinky smell and something that keeps making us laugh. Not quite sure what it is... Anyway, we watched a little movie called "Tell Your Children", but most people call it "Reefer Madness". It's an anti-cannabis propaganda film and boy oh boy is it right. We played enough arcade games in the 90's to know better. Keep that gross green loser grass away from us.  In this episode we have a Juggalo intervention, discover Wifi Frankenstien, Sinbad's IMDB gets an update, Nathan describes a very real dream he had the night before, and we nearly get run over by a train! 

It's March and that means the little gold man is here (and no, we're not talking about the leprechaun) (and no, we're also not talking about Cee Lo Green) (why are you even bringing up Cee Lo? What does he have to do with the month of March?)... that's right it's OSCAR TIME!  We put the vote to the listeners and the audience choice was Forrest Gump. Really? Guys that's what you wanted us to watch? Okaaaay. Well we put on our leg braces, drank ourselves into a below-average IQ, and did a lot of the Forrest Gump voice. Remember: if you ask someone if they're stupid and they respond with a quote from their mom, they're stupid.

We've been staring into the abyss for an entire month now. And the Abyss's goofy ass rodent face is staring us right back. Daniel has aged 20 years in a night. Nathan introduces us to Roose Sprongstern, and gives a brief history of the city of Punxatawney. AJ talks about how to prepare the Groundhog for the feast. We talk sugar dispensers. The bumper stickers are making us crazy. God can't build a gazebo so big he can't host a party in it. Jesus was the original crime fighting wrestler. Bea Arthur can get it.

We're trapped in Hell. A Hell of our own creation, co-written by a thousand moms working at a thousand typewriters. AJ is still stumping for hardcore sex and violence, Nathan is railing against Stephen Spielberg, and Daniel introduces Daniel's Faniels: a podcast within a podcast. Hot takes on Hitler, Daniel's dad brings a loose ham sandwich to the movies, Tito the capybara prognosticates the "Big Game".  Please seriously someone help us. We're losing our minds. It's like that movie where Tom Cruise keeps living and dying and repeating. It's only a matter of time until one of us snaps.

This all feels strangely familiar... Like we've done a Groundhog Day episode already and we're being forced to relive the same episode of Under The Influence over and over. Anway, here's our February episode! It's Groundhog Day and we're bringing all the drunk movie commentary you can shake a stick at and brother, lemme tell you we shake the hell out of that stick. Get ready to hear all about our childhood friend Testarosa McGillicutty, Sonny Bono's burial plans, Shrill Murray, regional TV jingles, diarrhea poisoning, Jersey Devil Coin, a conspicuous absence of airbending, and Benjamin Button's Escape from New York.

The Rowdy Boys welcome you to AJ's beatiful dark twisted fantasy. In honor of America's Rodent we watched Groundhog Day and boy oh boy it's a journey into the mouth of madness. Along the way Nathan reveals his mutant power, we all fall in love with Andie MacDowell, there's singing, there's a lot of mouth sounds, and an inordinate amount of Michael Shannon talk. 

The holidays are upon us and the Rowdy Boys are celebrating the only way they know how: rancid eggnog shots and bargain bin presents! This Christmas we put it to our listeners and they chose the 1997 Michael Cooney  fantasy classic Jack Frost. Along the way we learn that humor is selective, we get an episode of "Sittin With It", we talk turtlenecks, superbarns, someone becomes an amaretto millionaire, but mostly we just wanna play Lear. 

Our Thanksgiving special is here! We've got the turkey and the sweet potatoes and a cool sexy caveman is gonna share it with us. We talk about using all the parts of the M. Bison, AJ can't stop picturing "that jaundiced little worm", Daniel has strong opinions about the DeLuise family, and Nathan shows off his ability to drunkenly recall the lyrics to songs that exist in fiction.

Okay so we recorded this one back in July as a "Haloween in July" goof; but never got around to releasing it until actual Haloween. So here you go: we drank a lot of tequila and watched the scary Ernest movie. Ernest makes a smelly vagina joke, Daniel reminisces about Fat Satin Jacket days, AJ gets convinced that Ernest has sinister carnal urges, and Mickey Rooney's latent racist ghost plays Ernest's father.
