Jillian Brown is a wild adventurer who found her heart and peace of mind beside a river. Yet the road to that tranquility was nothing short of incredibly rocky and nearly life-threatening. She has been very open and honest about her story across her own social channels, which inspired us to reach out to learn more.
Today, Jillian and her business partner run a camp in an unknown destination in the middle of BC called “Camp My Way” – a safe space for medical professionals to go to recover from PTSD from the workplace. She shares how because of her experiences, she is now able to hold the space for others to experience wild transformation outdoors.
This is definitely a podcast to put all things in life quickly into perspective.

It’s only appropriate on a day like this to pass the mic to both educate and celebrate what it means to be a trans person in the world today. I’m so stoked to have Amil host this conversation with James where they chat about the experience and the importance of being visible. Together, they share heaps of great resources and perspectives for all of us to consider on our journeys in life together – less assumptions, more compassion seems to be a beautiful place to start.

Once known as a power-executive in Vancouver, BC, Michele currently resides approximately 7hrs and 3 ferry rides away from the corporate life she once knew to be the daily grind. When the pandemic hit, she lost her job and went to find herself. Little did she know that a trip to Hornby Island would inspire a complete shift in life. She found the last piece of property available on the island and convinced her partner that going coastal was worth a shot. She shares her relationship with goal setting, vision boards and most of all, manifesting the most beautiful foxy-morons that only make sense to her.
It was a true delight to connect with Michele who not only is thriving on island-life, yet is also the Head of Marketing for an incredible adventure brand called VSSL.

I met Doug Evans at his last start up in SF, where he spent his days full of crazy ideas and walking on his standing desk treadmill way before standing desks were a thing.
You might know Doug from previous vegan pursuits like Organic Avenue in NYC or Juicero, yet what he really wants you to know about is the accessibility and nutritional availability of sprouts. Full stop. Sprouts are Life!
He has gone on to write a book – The Sprout Book, currently on it’s 6th edition, having never finished college. He speaks about the challenges of his writing ability, the procrastination struggle and best of all – how he dances with big, daunting dreams! It’s impossible to not be inspired by such a brilliant, wild man who lives in the desert and mediates in the hot springs.
PS – please go buy his book today.

Dr. Sukhi Muker has lived many lifetimes and has the stories to prove it. You can read all about his journey online, yet this episode was meant to capture the grace through which he has emerged out the other side of rock bottom. He has spent the last 3 decades obsessed with human potential – yours and mine – to raise the frequency through which he moves through the world. He is disciplined in his belief that everything is energy and has designed his life around his core values, with no expectations or excuses.

Meet Grace Kennedy, the Founder and General Manager of LivLite — Vancouver’s first zero-waste grocery delivery. She started this business while on maternity leave and quickly realized that travelling with a baby, on her bike, to refill her glass bottles was hardly going to be sustainable. Less than a year later, she launched LivLite in an attempt to leave this planet treaded on slightly lighter for the next generation including her 2 year old son.

It started as a side hustle, out of the side of a local kitchen, to a group of Mom’s who helped spread the word in Whistler, BC. Ed, a passionate or dare we say, obsessed baker has turned the side hustle into one of our favourite local vegan bakeries with the support of his partner, Tash. Churning out over 150 loaves of sourdough a day, this is not simply a “pandemic hobby” — this is a new way of life. And when having the chance to speak with entrepreneurs who are crafting their way to making a dent in the universe, one loaf of a bread at a time, we can’t help but get excited! Tash put it so well: “We are selling happiness” — and it is indeed the most delicious version of happiness in the village.
