Unconventional Classrooms
Unconventional Classrooms
Natalie Galan
This podcast has received a makeover. It used to be Très Flavoured, associated with my cookie business, Très Flavoured Cookies. However, I realized that "business is business," and personal is well, personal. And this podcast definitely serves up a large dose of "personal." This is a verbal look into all of my life experiences and the lessons I learned from them. I can tell you something: I didn't learn how to solve these things in elementary Math class but rather in what I refer to as "unconventional classrooms." When I was a primary school teacher I never taught a class on "how to deal with an eating disorder," nor did I receive a course outline for "how to deal with bosses that are crushing your spirit" and it seems like those might have come in handy. So here I am, an ex-teacher, returning to the classroom. This time I am choosing the course material and I am learning as much as I am teaching. I hope you enjoy these lessons from the "Unconventional Classrooms."
