Also, Peter’s interview with Ben Shapiro was also excellent, with thoughtful, incisive questions which are Peter’s trademark. I really got a clear picture of where Ben stands on some very important issues. Thank you!

Disappointed that the Hope Florida scandal didn’t come up in the DeSantis interview

I think he is wise to stay away from current national politics. I’d like to see him in the 2028 race.

The interview with Ben Sasse was one of the best interviews I’ve heard. I appreciate his honesty, integrity, and humor. It was humbling and challenging. Ben Sasse, may God grant you lots of basketball in these last 60 seconds.

My #1 podcast. I have listened to Peter and his cohort of wonderfully insightful collaborators for over a decade. Peter is an incredible interviewer, drawing out a unique level of storytelling across the spectrum of disciplines. Uncommon Knowledge is a rare piece of rich experience amid the ubiquity of internet information (and misinformation).

Wow. My brain hurts after that discussion. The art, science, mysticism, and reality of math. Well done!

Try having a woman on the show to balance out the narratives around childbearing.

Peter’s style of long form interview combined with the deep knowledge of his guests never disappoints.

This, by a large measure, is my favorite podcast. I look forward to each episode and only wish they would drop more frequently!

Normally Peter asks great questions, but his recent interview of House Speaker Mike Johnson sounded more like a fawning infomercial. I was disappointed that Peter’s politics seem to have prevented him from challenging Johnson’s many factual liberties.

However, having Speaker Mike Johnson on to lie to the audience about the Big Beautiful Bill is rather insulting to listeners. Especially if allowed to go unchallenged on most of his statements which are simply lies & repeat the administrations propaganda.

Peter Failed to mention WFB as a novelist. CIA officer Blackford Oakes series Very entertaining. An episode of Firing Line with WFB and Thomas Sowell. Inspirational Thanks for great interviews Best Bruce, Grand Raoids, MI.

Professor Thomas, Sowell is a true philosopher of his time. Knowledgeable of the domains such as economics, culture, historical US policy, education, HHS and Labor department, etc. Academia will reflect on Sowell’s writings to course correction towards previous values of freedom in the exchange of ideas within University (IMO). Diverse perspectives led to America’s greatness, research & development, innovative projects, land of opportunities to prosper, intellect Universities, and unique military model other countries try to emulate. As a teacher, children are aware more than previous generations with information accessible in their pockets, digital literacy involves learning about propaganda, informal logic, and EDU’s push “digital citizenship.” There must be debates on the health impacts of tech devices and screens. It is unclear how AI truly affects our society, today’s humans are more artificial vs natural? Humanistic nature is more of an after thought, artificial preference is the majority. These topics are rarely discussed, and more like avoided.

Peter Robinson is a thoughtful and incisive interviewer. He does his homework and conducts an interview as well as anyone I’ve heard.

I have really appreciated Uncommon Knowledge. But this episode was very disappointing. Ferguson’s appraisal of Trump seemed to lean toward praise rather than dismay. He seemed pained to try to fall in line with Trump’s agenda and how he is going about implementing it. Yes, let’s trash our allies and withdraw from the national stage to create a vacuum that China/Russia would love to fill.

The best political podcast out there. I only wish there were even more of Peter Robinson’s interviews.

I admire Peter and enjoy his guests and their discussions, but the production values of this series have gotten progressively worse. Listening requires constantly turning the volume up and down because of the huge difference in gain between Peter’s mic and his guest’s mic. I can barely hear Peter’s soft voice unless I crank the volume, and then have to turn it back down quickly when his guest responds to prevent blowing out my ear drums. The recent podcast with Marc Andreessen was the worst yet. Marc is an emphatic speaker and the volume of his speech ranged from very soft to VERY LOUD. I must have adjusted volume 50+ times to listen to the entire thing, something I never have to do with any podcasts. Peter needs to hire a real producer who knows how to use a mixer and an amplitude compressor. That’s how the pros do it.

Really enjoy the podcast. Don’t listen to all the guests but Peter is excellent. Just listened to the last one with Andy Ferguson. I think Jonah Goldberg the other day said he is one of two guests listeners always like on his show. If so his charm utterly missed me. He was so afflicted with TDS that I’m guessing he will be on the next plane out of America right after Ellen. It’s an election- get a life

Is it really an “Unknown Knowledge” to anticipate the potential end of humanity with the designers of this race to the finish phenomena 🤔 Seems the rendezvous is near not because of the biblical narratives, rather decades of destructive foreign policies which have lined up the pockets of your billionaire guest profiting from war machines. Disappointingly simplistic topics. No time to waste no more 🧻

You are all focusing on race. The message the Democrats push reminds us of the Socialists and Communists that ruined our countries of origin. That simple. Stop the race hustle and listen to learn.

Peter - you are a rockstar in so many ways but you have to learn to take a breath and let your guests speak and make their point before you cut them off. You interrupted the great and graceful Condoleezza Rice at least half a dozen times and it was painful to experience as a listener. And, it’s inconsiderate — especially to someone as experienced and respected as Ms. Rice. Take a beat and trust that you’ll get your point across; once she’s made hers.

Long time uncommon knowledge fan that loved the balanced approach back in the day. Today, the show is every bit a kissing cousin to Fox News- just with smarter people. The latest episode on evolution should have included both sides-- it did not. Rather, the episode was just an agenda. Both guests have been refuted long ago, but the agenda remains. Won't be listening to the show again

I like his podcast. The topics are goofy and not helpful for the average Joe on the street. Clearly high minded topics. Could do better to stop interrupting his guests so much. Many times a guest is on a roll answering a question and they get stopped mid sentence. A good interviewer let’s the person speak! But I like the show.

Outstanding series of pods regarding life in the 1960s during the civil rights movement. The antidotes are thought-provoking, compelling, balanced, and, yes, some even were funny. if they gave out Nobel prizes for educational pods, this one would win hands-down every year!

Peter, thank you for all your preparation and provocative sessions. Please consider sometimes permitting your guest to finish his or her sentence. Often you spoke for five or more sentences, then interrupted during your guest’s first or second sentence.

What vibrant, thoughtful, discerning voices from three cultural icons who are able to both recall their pasts and speak truth to the present. . . . And now I know how a man named John Wesley Rice Jr. ended up as a Presbyterian rather than a Methodist minister. Godspeed to them all.

Peter Robinson, never fails to bring the most entertaining guests to Uncommon Knowledge. No matter what the subject is (or how fringe it becomes ), he never fails to leave me wanting more.

The topic is exceptional, the delivery was frustrating w/ both guests talking over each other & occasionally all 3 talking over each other. Peter, it is sometimes the case that the moderator has to moderate & control the discussion rather than be an engaged listenee.

Stimulating. Next best thing to reading a book! Don't stop putting these out! PR well prepares for interviews unlike most.

World power was so well described we should be able to hear more from him. Thank you. In the 5 more questions for Stephen Kotkin, I found extremely disappointing at 14:30 in the interview that events leading up to war where totally ignored or purposely left out.

Stephen Kotkin is an historian and a great biographer. Why is he talking about the peace deal in Ukraine? He can talk about Russian history, sure. But munitions and future defense pacts? A bit absurd and Peter didn’t challenge any points.

This podcast has refreshed my love and understanding of all things involving history and politics! I appreciate the truth in each episode and love that Peter and his guests are so articulate in their discussions and studies. As a conservative, it’s hard to find a good podcast with no hidden agenda!! I truly appreciate their point of view on each topic and love how easy matured the host is! Discovered this podcast today and am on my 6th episode already. 10/10

I live with a conservative and am forced to try to expand my views. I have tried to listen to the shows, thinking that they might allow those with opposing views and equal intellectual accomplishment an occasional opportunity to present their views. Thus far I have never seen such an effort. I can see the logic and the arguments of the right. I want to understand them though I might not agree. The intellectual capacities of the hosts are wasted on self congratulation of conservatives and the arrogant presumption that their arguments are correct simply because they are conservative without any presentation of opposing viewpoints. Lots of intellectual horsepower is wasted here. I wish this show had more depth.
