We talk about who the most influential people have been in our lives. Then we jump into a COVID-19 conversation, just talking about how it has affected our lives, and many others around us.

What an episode, with Mike Stidham hosting, joined by Coach Sione Pouha, Producer Max Stidham, and The Monkey boy. We think this was our best episode yet, as far as our conversation flows. We start off today talking about the University of Utah's football coach Morgan Scalley and the controversial things that are being alleged against him. And that leads to what is happening today with the Black Lives Matter movement, and what is the path of redemption if there is any. We jump into a little bit of the Utah Jazz and what some hopes are for the season, and what we hope happens with Donovan Mitchell. As to the rest of this conversation Max and Monkey had little knowledge.A little talk about Mt. Rushmore, and the controversy about it with it being racists and slave owners. And then a challenge to think about who would we put as faces on our own Mt. Rushmore. What four people have inspired you the most to put on that mountain. 

What a crazy world we live in! Mike Stidham as your host, joined by boxing coach Sione Pouha, Max Stidham, The Monkey Boy and Robert Stidham. We start off the podcast with a discussion about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and a very racial statement from a former president of the church Brigham Young. With the world in a current state of chaos, due to the George Floyd incident, we discuss the possibility of the renaming of the university in attempts for the church to right this error. Then we do jump topics and talk some MMA. We talk about the UFC and how the fighters are compensated per fight that they have. Contracts are being renegotiated quite often, when fighters move up in the rankings, the person that they want them to fight, and the size of crowds the fighter draws. Then we get back to some police officer talk. Mike has great stories about how his perspective was completely changed from when he first put the badge on, to today and how a couple of his experiences have left him with some mental scars. Lastly, what is journalism? In today's day we hear the term "fake news" thrown around all too often. So, the question is, where do you get your news? There are too many people and stories on social media that can't be trusted, and have no validation, and this trend is passing on to the main stream media. It is vital that we validate our sources.

Just a family affair with the Stidham's. Mike Stidham and the Monkey Boy chat it up with Mike's older Brother, Robert, who suffered a stroke at a young age, rendering him 'disabled'. Despite having difficulty walking on his own, Robert went on the get his Master's Degree, and worked as a Physical Therapist for years. Robert lives in Mesa, Arizona and is the 'Dark Sheep' of the family, as he is a devout Mormon. :)Also joining the conversation is Mike's younger sister, Shanti. She is quite possibly the sweetest person on the planet and works as a Social Worker in Portland, Oregon. She has also been married to a woman for over a decade. SAAAAY WHAAAAA????....A Liberal Lesbian from Oregon, and a Conservative Mormon from Arizona. We talk about the world as we know it during a pandemic, offer some opinions as to why our country is so polarized, about re-opening of the economy, movies, books, and food. 

With Mike Stidham as the host, joined today, by Max Stidham, some other Stidhams', a Schmitt, and The Monkey Boy. In todays episode, we start off by talking about the Carona Virus again, and highlighting some things that helped our country because of the NBA. Mike bought some livestock this last week. He ended up getting a couple quail and some chickens. Then we talked about how some educational books are being removed from the shelves in schools, and why would states enforce it? And to wrap it up, we talk a lot about movies and TV shows/series that we had as homework, and what we should all be watching this upcoming week.
