
The Calabash of Conformity is Broken is an intuitive story about breaking free from the confines of conformity. As I tell this story, I am imagining the clay pot shaped like a calabash gourd that recently broken on my bedroom floor. That broken clay gourd was the genesis of this story. Thinking about how everything dies or breaks in its time, and when that happens, something beautifully liberating might be unleashed. Not only unleashed, but hungry to be known and remembered as an energetic memory meant for our good not our demise.
