Thanks for taking the time to breakdown the show, my son (17) just started watching and loves to listen to your podcasts after every episode.

But not as good as Game of owns. Ladies learn the characters names. Its annoying to hear you say You can't remember.

I enjoyed this show so much I listened to the entire backlog of previous seasons.

I listen to several podcasts for TV to understand something. Listening to hosts laugh at their own jokes isn't entertaining. We listeners should be the ones laughing. Be as funny as possible, of course, but move on to the next interesting or humorous point instead of pausing to laugh every few minutes. It interrupts the flow of the podcast terribly. I think good TV podcasts fall into one of two formats. The first is a thorough episode summary where the discussion is paced quickly, yet it is thorough. These shorter podcasts keep you engaged because they get right down to business and there isn't a moment of down time where your mind wanders. Longer podcasts summarize the episode, but also include information about the show that's appeared in publications, relevant research about historical events ( a la Mad Men), and have more esoteric discussions about symbolism, archetypes,,etc. This podcast is neither. The hosts take an entire 45 minutes to relay the plot (and a good plot summary isn't the same as a scene blow-by-blow, BTW) and the rest is...I'm not sure. Commentary that isn't very in depth or useful (the exception being when they talk about the content of the book. That is very helpful. More of that!). I've listened to several S1 eps, and I hope the hosts improved over time. With such a testosterone-drenched show, it's great to have two women dig in and dissect things.

Tyrion’s Landing - A Game of Thrones podcast comes out 1-2 days after the other GoT podcasts. Thats OK. It truly is worth the wait. I am so tired of GoT podcasts that compare each scene in the TV broadcast with the book series. “Well.. in the book they do …”. I am reading the books and cannot stand to hear these comparisons — they are spoilers for the book readers. They don’t do that on this podcast. You are safe here. The ladies start each show with "GoT in the News”. Its a wonderful segment no one else is doing. Next they discuss the events in each broadcast with deft aplomb. I can’t wait for HBO Season 5 of GoT — and listening to this Podcast again each week.

They do great breakdowns of each episode from the lady's perspective. Always entertaining , informative, and funny.
