15. Outlander 8.08 "In The Forest" Recap
This week we break down one of the most emotionally satisfying episodes of the final season. The threads we've been pulling at for years are starting to tie themselves up. Which means the end is close. SOB. We're talking the William and Jamie reconciliation, the world's most chaotic family dinner and kids' table energy we resonate with, Roger's ordination and one stunning pregnant Brianna radiating divine feminine energy. We also get into Frank's motives finally making sense, Buck clearing up the Rob Cameron situation and what on earth Lord John has gotten himself into with Percy now. Also. Is William's hair turning red? (It is. It's symbolic. We have thoughts.) There's some serious listener love on The Ridge, our all-time Outlander highlights, and our predictions for what's coming.Enjoy! 14. Outlander 8.07 "Evidence of Things Not Seen" Recap
Is this the most divisive episode of Outlander ever?! Maybe. What we do know is that Lauren Lyle (Marsali) deserves every acting award that has ever existed and some that haven't been invented yet. Of course, we lost Fergus (RIP 😭) and (like the rest of the internet) we have thoughts about how it was handled. Then there's the incessant lace metaphor đŸȘĄ, Fanny responding to finding out about her ancestral lineage by asking to go to her room (lol iconic), and William outraged by yet another truth, though this time we are running low on sympathy.Three episodes left of Outlander. Ever. Send us your predictions, your theories, your grief. And we genuinely want to know — what are your favourite moments from across all eight seasons? We'll be sharing ours as we head into the final stretch. Also mentioned in this episode, listener Lucia at @ambrosias.table, AKA Batch Cooking Queen. Thanks to Lucia, Fiona, Jane and all of our listeners on The Ridge this week!! Send us a message! speakpipe.com/twoweelasssiesFollow us on IG: @twoweelassies

13. Outlander 8.06 "Blessed Are The Merciful" Recap
Episode 6 review is liiiiive! And Gen is pre-menstrual and in tears. We've got Mrs Crombie on her knees in the wind begging Jamie to let her stay. Rachel admitting her jealousy out loud. Ian meeting a stranger he used to know. Rollo's grandchild puppy ending us completely. Also, we watch the Blood of My Blood teaser live, give a shout out to our parents who have been listening (and who think we're funny 😁), and we question why we don't see more of Jamie in his glasses.Four episodes left. Big thanks to all of our listeners on The Ridge this week, including Philippa, Kat, Mark, Wayne and Jeanette.Send us a message! speakpipe.com/twoweelasssiesFollow us on IG: @twoweelassies

12. Outlander 8.05 "Send For The Devil" Recap
We’ve officially hit the midpoint and this episode is a mix of tension, tenderness and a few “oh GOD” moments that had us clutching our metaphorical Ellen McKenzie pearls.Jamie. In. A. Kilt. That’s it. That’s the highlight.Jamie thriving under pressure as peak Jamie is another. The character arc for Roger Mac: Chefs kiss. And god, the Ardsmuir men and their loyalty. No words. Lizzy is serving early-season Outlander with her basket, woollen shrug and general angel energy too. J’adore. Bonniest. Then there’s the loose ends. This episode is doing some serious connective work and we’re into it. Claire & Jamie finally acknowledging that truth about both Buck’s parents. Bree & William bond more over their mutual and complex dad situation. Roger meets William, Denzel meets Roger, Denzel re-meets William, it’s basically historical speed dating. Threads are tying people - it’s making our Claire very happy indeed. Aaron Whitaker reappears - literally from the bushes - he flags Cunningham, and there’s this heavy, quiet dread that settles in. No sweeping romance, no dramatic battle cries, just that familiar feeling of impending loss. Claire saying goodbye to Jamie (again 💔) hits differently this time. There’s more predictions, a new Listener Love segment called The Ridge and just a whole lotta gratitude for the characters we love so much. Not to mention our collective denial that we’ve officially tipped past halfway.  Come chat with us and share your theories!  As always, we welcome your theories. 11. Outlander 8.04 "Muskets, Liberty, and Sauerkraut" Recap
Episode 4 has us deep in it this week - layered, emotional and quietly setting up some big moves. We’re asking who can we actually trust right now? Because between Amaranthus (đŸš© sorry, we said it), the Cunningham energy and secrets being shared a little too freely, well, things feel shaky. And when William opens up about being a bastard. Frankly we're concerned about who he’s telling and what that might mean.We are officially Elsbeth fans. She is intriguing, perceptive, and gives absolutely nothing away. The bark-for-bark exchange with Claire (slippery elm vs Jesuit bark) is iconic, and the way she sees Fanny so clearly - “she’s a remarkable child” - stand up MVP behaviour. Also Brianna and William. That reunion scene. Awkward, raw, perfect. Sophie Skelton is playing Bree with such grounded maturity this season - she’s gentle, measured, and the way she reminds William of who his family is. Heaven. Plus Lord John extending that invite. Yes please, more please. Meanwhile Roger is off on his own chaotic side quest trying to secure guns in Savannah, which lands him in a full-blown Continental army camp unable to leave while Jamie’s past in warfare is starting to ripple into the present. Fergus lovers assemble because he might just be the son of Comte St Germain and about to receive a huge inheritance: oh hi generational wealth and land deals for a French colony. The Beauchamp name popping up again is intriguing - there's layers, there's implications. There's history and drama. And there's Marsali just quietly loving him for exactly who he is. As always. We also touch on Buck MacKenzie popping back in, Ian and Rachel, Fanny and the ongoing mystery of Frank’s book. What was his actual motive? Help? Hinder? Something in between?Come debrief with us.Find us on IG @twoweelassiesTell us what are your predictions for the final season?!

10. Outlander 8.03 "Abies Fraseri" Recap
We're asking the big questions this episode. How do we feel about Jealous Jamie? What's the blue light all about? And will William get his heart broken again this season? We're breaking down the incredible birth scene, militias forming, masks coming off (ahem, Cunningham), and we can feel the conflict brewing on the horizon. But it's not all doom and gloom! We're geeking out over character development, costume choices (because the details matter!), and speculating wildly about where this supernatural storyline is headed. Are Claire's powers going to change everything? Likely.Find us on IG @twoweelassiesSend us an audio note! What are *your* best predictions for the final seson?!

09. Outlander 8.02 "Prophecies" Recap

We break down all the big moments in 8.02 "Prophecies", which also happens to be Caitriona Balfe's directorial debut! We're talking Amy's heartbreaking death, the birth of baby Oggy and William's midnight graveyard revelation. We also get into why David Berry would be completely safe from Claire in a Sydney Woolworths carpark and Gen's deeply aspirational no-wash hair routine, plus how recapping Outlander is basically just HSC English for us all over again. 06. Outlander Season Six Recap
This one's a rollercoaster packed into just eight episodes!Gen's diving into what is the most condensed season of Outlander, breaking down the musical highlights (helllo Sky Boat Song), Lizzie's wild relationship with the Beardsley twins and why Ian continues to be the character development king.Filming during the pandemic meant a shorter season, but it also meant some incredibly intense storytelling: Claire's PTSD takes centre stage in ways that are both difficult and important to watch, while the political landscape gets murkier and more morally complicated than ever.Plus, Fergus is going through it this season! Dealing with shame and identity in ways that break your heart. And community dynamics get real when Fraser's Ridge rallies when things get dark.Join us as Gen guides us through the shortened but emotionally packed Season Six!Find us on IGSend us an audio note
