His mother gets it for him, but little do they know, the doll embodies the soul of a serial killer.Child's Play is as Shane says - two different movies in one. It's a horror film until Chucky comes alive and at that point, it's a comedy. While the movie can be quite ridiculous and humorous at times, it has a charm. Many people are afraid of inanimate objects (like dolls) coming alive so the idea is certainly creepy. In any case, it's very entertaining and we enjoyed discussing Child's Play. In Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust, actors join a reality tv show where the set is their own grave. They win by surviving the slasher, but little do they know, the killer is very real.Playing with Dolls: Bloodlust is the sequel to Metalface or Playing with Dolls which is a film we reviewed early on. While the movie had some unbelievably tough moments to watch, it was entertaining and the sequel lines up the same way. Merry Christmas everyone as we review Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2. This is a movie that almost has enough recycled footage from the first movie to fill the entire feature-length of this film. In Silent Night, Deadly Night Part 2, Ricky recounts the events that led him to becoming a murderer after his brother, Billy, was killed at the orphanage. A far as sequels go, this one is all time bad, but it is a cult classic for one climactic scene that is totally unforgettable. Sniper: Special Ops stars action movie star and martial arts expert, Steven Seagal, and former WWE Superstar, Rob Van Dam, in an action/war film where almost nothing happens for an hour and a half. A covert mission to extract a U.S. congressman goes south as the Taliban seize him, ruining the mission, and leaving an elite Army sniper and his partner isolated. A unit attempts to retrieve them as they fend for their survival. We may not always review horror movies on this podcast, but we certainly review some winners and this being one of them right near Christmas.
