Growing up in refugee camps in Ethiopia and Kenya set Nyadol Nyuon on a path that would shape her journey so far. A lawyer, human rights and multiculturalism advocate, writer and accomplished public speaker, Nyadol has lived a thousand lives in one. Lying in hospital after a shrapnel wound and subsequent infection, was SAS veteran Harry Moffitt’s ‘crucible moment.’ Realising he needed a Plan B for his future he set about to change course. After almost 30 years in the Australian Defence Force, 11 overseas deployments which always included his favourite game, cricket, Harry reinvented. Now a registered psychologist, human performance consultant, he works with sports teams, the military and industry to develop and inspire their people to thrive. Sarah Jones was a country kid who like many was sports mad. But it was her determination that helped her forge a career as a sports broadcaster at a time when there were few women in the game. Sarah is now one of Australia’s most polished sporting hosts and appears on FOX Footy, cricket and sports all year round. And while Sarah’s story isn’t without tragedy, having lost someone very important to her at a young age, she says it doesn’t define her.
