Today we speak to a mushroom scientist Jim Fuller. Jim has been a mycologist for over a decade which is a mushroom scientist and we discuss his story of growing up in Texas and how he developed his love for mushrooms. Jim is a very well educated man and has persevered moving all the way to Australia and following his passion as a mushroom scientist. His passion lead him and 2 others to create a mushroom based meat called Fable Foods which is a great alternative for meat and it tastes amazing. It's made using natural ingredients and its main ingredient is shiitake mushrooms which has a numerous amount of health benefits. Fable Foods has now been released onto the shelves in woolworths so make sure you give it a try. So I hope you enjoy this episode and remember to share it with a friend or on your social media and hit the subscribe button to help support the podcast. This episode was a little bit different to sport but you can still relate everything from Jim's story back to something you're trying to achieve. When Jim was out of money taking a risk moving to Australia he had to persevere and work hard to make a career out of his dream. If its something you really want to do opportunities will arise its funny how the universe works as for Jim there was a mushroom farm just down the road from where he was living and when there was only a few in Australia at the time. So if you are working hard and following your dream job or passion, focus on that, stay patient as the money and rewards will be a result of the hard work and love your putting into that.
