Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Femicide Part 2

Social media was awakened to the shooting of Namhla Mtwa, who was killed on the 21st of April 2022, in her car, on her driveway by an intimate partner. This case has now caught the attention of millions of South Africans who are now following, as her family released alarming photographs, a video and messages they found on her phone. Messages that go back and forth between her and her boyfriend.

I take a second look at GBV, VAWG, IPV, DV, SV, SA and indirect Structural violence.
