On this episode, we chat about exactly why Red Lobster got so much flack for taking their time to react the shoutout they got on Beyonce's "Formation" (which essentially took over the Internet last week) and discuss what they should have done instead.

In a previous episode, we waxed poetic about how the kids of today missed out on the gems of childhood due to technology, but my little brother, Tobi (9), took issue with that statement.
On this episode, he sets the record straight about "Gen Z" and chats about social media and branding from a child's perspective. It's adorable, but surprisingly informative.

On this episode, Toni discusses the #ThanksgivingWithBlackFamilies trend, which garnered 1.5 million mentions over the course of a few days and even landed in the Twitter Moments feed.
One of the memes created during this trend featured a regular Wall Street guy, Howard Nedrick, as a caricature of the cousin with “mad degrees and allergies.” (View original tweet here: https://twitter.com/Atom_Kane_/status/668890904145625088)
Overnight, it seemed like his face was everywhere and on this episode, Howard discusses how that felt, how it happened and what’s next for him.

There’s a new app that’s making it possible to create the A capella medley you always dreamed of. Except, you don’t have to gather people, book a studio, or even have much talent!
An app called "Acapella" is allowing users to stitch together videos with different vocals that create a song or interesting compilation of sounds. It’s taking off on social media and is currently the 2nd most popular free app in the App Store.

Twitter is a platform that you either get, or you don’t. And some people have mastered Twitter so much that they’re using it to tell serialized stories that draw people in, 140 characters at a time.
The latest example of this is from a Twitter user nicknamed “Zola” whose unbelievable tale of a trip gone so very wrong in 150 tweets – which promptly viral. But, this isn’t an isolated phenomenon.
This week, Toni is joined by two of MRY’s Twitter aficionados: Chief Marketing Officer, @dberkowitz and Vice President, Global Brand Development, @vishalsapra.
