She is currently working on writing her first feature film as well as working as an videographer and video editor for The Chelsea Music Festival in NYC. For today’s episode, we wanted to address the wave of hate crimes against Asian-Americans. Since the start of the pandemic, hate crimes against Asian-Americans have risen drastically, especially towards the elderly. Our community is being attacked and we can not stay silent anymore. President Biden signed an executive order condemning racism against Asian Americans amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but there is still so much more work to be done. Hate is a Virus is a nonprofit community dedicated to dismantling racism and hate. All proceeds from this episode will be donated to their Community Action Fund. Happy Year of the Ox! With Lunar New Year right around the corner, we wanted to share some of our Chinese New Year traditions.
