We are citizens of the Kingdom of heaven (Phil. 3:20). As Kingdom Citizens, Jesus, in His Sermon points out the importance of having a heavenly perspective and urges us to pursue the Kingdom of God above all else. He says, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you” (Mat. 6:33). In other words, our lives should be directed by God’s principles and purposes rather than our own selfish ambitions and goals.

The book of Revelation is an unveiling of Jesus Christ in all of his glory; in fact the entire Bible is really His-story, that is, it is all about Him. The Apostle John first sees in a vision of the glorified Christ. Secondly, he is told by Christ to write to the 7 churches of Asia Minor, who represent the entire church age. Thirdly, he wrote about the future judgment of God’s wrath upon the ungodly and Christ’s ultimate triumph over all his enemies. In this message Bishop Frye focuses mainly on our preparation for the coming of Jesus Christ, in the Rapture. What are we to do until Jesus comes back? That’s the million dollar question. 1. We should be spreading the good news about what Jesus has done to save us from the wrath of God. 2. We should be operating in our priestly office in constant prayer, because our ultimate goal is to reign with Christ in His eternal kingdom.

The Bible is a book of dispensations or of times. We according to the word of God are living in the last days. This age began on the Day of Pentecost about two thousand years ago when the Church was birthed when the Holy Spirit came to dwell in the hearts of believers. But according to the signs we now see, we are swiftly approaching the end of the world. There are several events that will soon occur; tha Rapture of the Church, the Tribulation Period, the Return of Christ to the earth, the 1000 year reign of Jesus Christ, and the final judgments. In this message I will explore some of these exciting and horrifying events.

Jesus Christ is our good Sheppherd. As our Good Sheppherd he provides for all our needs, both our physical and spiritual needs are provided by Jesus Christ our Good Sheppherd.

The Gospel of Jesus Christ has the power to save us from our sins. However, it must first be preach and received by faith. The Gospel will deliver us from sin’s penalty, sin’s power and ultimately from this present evil world. How does the Gospel work? The Gospel works by faith. It is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believes.(Romans 1:16) For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (Romans 10 and 13).

This message focuses on the, “Lord’s Prayer” or better yet, the disciples prayer. It was Jesus’ response to his followers request, teach us to pray. He first tells them not to pray like the hypocrites. Secondly, they need to understand that God is the source of everything they need. So they should always honor his name. Thirdly, they should accept and anticipate his kingdom. Fourthly, because of his coming kingdom, one day things will be just like it is in heaven.

God’s ultimate goal for us is to prepare us for what he has in store for us in heaven. Sometimes it means we need to be encouraged and sometimes we may need to be corrected. So, as we look at the church of Ephesians we see Jesus commending, condemning, and correcting His church. He encourages them for the things they did good and condemned them for what they did wrong but he also gave them consolation and motivation to overcome their sin.

We have come to Mt. Carnal is the personal battle we all have with our sin nature each and everyday. However, It is a mountain we can overcome this mountain by the power of the Spirit of Christ.

The ultimate truth is found in the Bible, God’s Holy Word. The ultimate truth is the person Jesus Christ, He is the Living Word or the Word made flesh.
