Podcast Interview with Ethan Kent

In this episode, Ethan Kent discusses the role individuals can play in placemaking and building better communities more generally. He also discusses how enabling broader collaboration across disciplines and communities can be beneficial and how we can work together to break down obstacles in institutions of higher learning.

Ethan Kent is the Senior Vice President of Project for Public Spaces which works to support placemaking organizations, project, and leadership around the world. During more than 18 years at Project for Public Spaces he has traveled to more than 750 cities and 55 countries to advance the cause of placemaking spaces. He has been engaged in the process of transforming placemaking as an approach to economic development, environmentalism, transportation planning, governance, equity, and design.
