On this weeks episode of TCWM we are talking about the Jayme Closs case that was asked for by Kodak or @kod4chrome on Instagram. We talk about mental health (of course) on this episode, but also about how growing up in differnet enviornments can potentially affect your behavior. This case doesn't necessarily have a "happy ending", but there is something that is different from essentially every other case we've covered. Also, to find out what the title means, you have to listen to the episode.

Hi! CJ here. We are going to be moving to releasing every other Monday instead of every Monday. We may eventually move back to weekly, but right now between my classes being full time/other things going on and Rachel working full time, things are getting to be a bit too much for our mental health. Like I said, this might be temporary or it might not. We will of course keep you guys updated though. And as always, if you have any cases you want to hear about, be sure to reach out to us via email [email protected] or @truecrimewithmillennials on Instagram.

We are starting a new series about missing and murdered indigenous women. It's not going to be coming out every week, but we are going to aim for at least once a month. We want to use our platform to bring attention to this very prevalent issue, and this week we are talking about one of the more well known cases, focusing on Selena Not Afraid in Montana. There is a lot of mystery surrounding this case as well as a lot of fault of the people who were supposed to be helping to find her, the police, while the family did everything they could to find her. How was she found and what details do we know? Listen to find out.

We are going outside of what is heard all over media, both social and news, to shine a light on lesser known and just as important cases. Remember, these are people too.

In this episode CJ takes the lead again and talks about The Chillicothe Six. This is a lesser known case that does have it's own documentary out, but we cover it to go over it more in depth. There are 6 victims, hence them being called The Chillicothe Six. It is an episode that is heartbreaking and brings out talking about the dark side of drug addiction and the potential of other terrible things happening to these six victims.

This week we talk about Bryan Riley, a former Navy sharpshooter that served overseas. One simple day of going and picking up supplies to help aid in hurricane relief turned into a planned tragedy against a family who had no part in his life. Do we attest his behavior to drugs, mental health or something else? Let’s talk about that.

On this weeks episode of TCWM we talk about Elizabeth Báthory, a noblewoman who came into power maybe a little too soon. We talk about who she killed, how she killed, and what might be the modus operandi (m.o.) behind her actions. This case is rather gruesome and goes into depth about the wicked torture that Elizabeth put people through, so be prepared. This one may make your skin crawl a bit.
