I love these two! I have been a listener for several years now and I realized I should probably review my favorites! TCS covers really interesting cases that most other podcasts don’t. I think the hosts are fun and have a great rapport together. I love that they include the time stamp for the banter for days when I just want to hear about the case. It is so crazy that they both have full time jobs and still produce great content weekly. Keep up the awesome work, we all appreciate you!

I love the hosts Stephanie and Olivia (and Peep!) They’re relatable and fun to listen to and they cover more recent true crime cases which is refreshing. They also do lots of true crime updates on their instagram so it’s fun to have to refer to when I’m listening to new episodes. Keep it up ladies! Thank you!

I have about an hour commute to work and listening to TCS is one of my favorite ways to pass the time! I like the variety of cases they cover and the amount of information they include. Some people seem to get upset about the “chat” they do at the start but 1. I love to hear updates about their lives and will sometimes listen just to that part of an episode if the case they are covering isn’t something I’m super interested. 2. They couldn’t make it more clear that there is a way to skip that part if you simply want to listen to the true crime part. There is a button in the episode description you can click to skip this and it’s also mentioned in the podcast before they even get started. * PS more Peep content please

I really do! I appreciate their timely posts on Facebook, but the podcast is really elementary. They know nothing about the legal process and sometimes it’s painful to listen to. Also, please, nobody cares about Peep!!

I love the way Steph and Olivia talk about the weather in both of their respective places. I love the chit chat between the two at the beginning because it gives me a chance to know a little about them. I have gone back to listen from the beginning and I have enjoyed every episode! I really enjoy this podcast but why do you include the long personal intros? Like I’m sorry but who cares about the weather etc. Intros are waaaay too long. Yes I can skip but sometimes they don’t include the time stamp.

First time I have ever written a podcast review, but this is so bad I had to complain. I heard about the Gypsy Rose episode by this podcast so I was excited to listen as there are few podcasts that cover this story and I wanted more info in podcast form. First off, they spent TWELVE minutes of this episode blathering about nothing. Twelve! That’s almost half to a third of the time of a typical podcast in its entirety, and during this time there was no data given. Secondly, this seems like one person wants to have her own podcast but heard that two-person podcasts perform better so she brought in a second person. However, the second person says very few words and it’s mostly filler words. I feel bad for her, like she’s just there for show. Finally, I think the overall presentation of the podcast is just poor. It’s slow, it seems very robotic instead of flowing, and the data presented isn’t even in depth. I am an avid true crime podcast listener and I obviously have favorite shows that follow the format I prefer, but I still give a fair shot to other shows, especially if it’s a topic I’m interested in. I just couldn’t recommend this podcast to anyone. It’s certainly not my style, and I feel like if I simply read a transcript of the show I would have the same end result. What a bummer.

This is my first time listening to this podcast. I follow it on IG & thought I’d give it a try! Honestly, I’m super disappointed so far…it’s been 15 mins of talking about personal things and small chat. Not a fan of this.

This podcast has about 10 minutes of non related commentary by the hosts at the beginning of the episode. I personally don’t want to hear that. I want to hear about the true crime case and not all of this unnecessary fluff. Host are also pretty monotone so hard to pay attention and it gets quite boring. I tried the very first episode then the most recent episode to see if they had improved since they started and they haven’t. I couldn’t finish either episode. Just not for me.

Why exactly are Yall giving so much time and attention to someone who belongs in jail aka Gypsy?? Seriously, what am I missing and why is this chick so famous right now. Yall have nothing better to talk about?

I absolutely love this show. These hosts do such great research and I really love the way they present the information. I enjoy their candor, chemistry, and effort. I listen to a ton of true crime and lately all I want to tune into is this show!

I enjoy the simple format- no drama and they are just who they are. I love listening to their take on the cases described. Very delightful podcast if you are a true crime enthusiast yet don’t want the scary music making everything dramatic. They include original clips from the cases for information and post all documents on their website if you want more. Very thorough.

Love this one and love they put timestamps to get straight to the story as I am not always a fan of the banter before

I love this podcast but not sure why y'all did an episode on something y'all didn’t even do much research about cause there is actually DNA to be tested still. Would advise to doing more research before doing high profile cases, TCS did not do Jon Benet any justice and didn’t really give much detail about the actual case. She deserved more than that.

I really like the topics that the ladies pick and absolutely don’t mind the conversations between them. To me they are very underrated…. And I see so many updates on many cases before I see it in the news, bravo!

My friend recommended this podcast to me and I just spent three weeks listening to every single episode from the beginning to now. So obviously I joined Patreon so I could keep listening. I love the format (including the chat at the beginning.) The analysis is sharp and empathetic. The range of cases is super interesting. Ten out of ten. Incredibly into this podcast, delighted to have finally discovered it.

I came across TCS in my search for new true crime podcasts, and honestly this one is super underrated! I adore Steph and Olivia; they’re well researched and I love their chats at the top of the show (ignore the haters, I like getting to know them!). It feels like I’m chatting with friends, and I’ve already gone back and listened to half of their archive. I actually just joined their Patreon a few minutes ago so I can listen more. I liked it for awhile but I find the hosts to be somewhat insensitive and sensationalist with little understanding of the law. Not sure how they’re qualified to breakdown legal documents for us. Defensive instead of accepting feedback. I will say I don’t mind the chat at the beginning as so many complain about. It’s the rest of the pod.

I just finished every podcast of theirs last week, I miss listening to them everyday. I’ve tried other true crime podcasts but I love theirs so much! They don’t sound scripted and dramatic like a lot of others. Now Thursdays are my favorite day of the week. Editing my review 1.5 years later! I love these two! I feel like I’m sitting in my living room having a conversation with my two best friends. Episodes are well-researched and Olivia and Steph are really good at remaining neutral while still providing their opinions (and their viewers’ from IG polls) on open cases. This is a true crime podcast done RIGHT.

I love the way that Stephanie and Olivia tell the stories (and I personally love the chat as well😉). I became a Patreon and am loving the bonus content and early releases on episodes. I've been listening to TCS since 2020 but never knew I could leave a review lol. I absolutely love this podcast! I look forward to my walks when I can listen and am disappointed when I'm all caught up. They really do an excellent job covering everything thouroughly and answering all the questions (to the best of their ability) that everyone must have. I really like hearing their personal theories on what happened as well. I also truly enjoy the chat in the beginning. It makes Stephanie and Olivia very relatable and like I actually know them. 5 stars all around for sure!
