This week Jonny and Amy share a call to prayer from Mark’s gospel. They invite us to join in with the church across the nation in making this month a month of seeking God together.

As we finish our series on ‘Jesus Calling’, George looks at Jesus’ commission to Simon Peter to ‘fish for people.’In following Jesus we are invited to see our lives and our world in a completely new way and to partner with God in seeing His Kingdom come to earth.When we, like Simon, give our whole lives to Jesus, we find that He is able to do more in and through us than we can possibly imagine.

This week Jonny looks at Simon Peter’s response to the extraordinary and miraculous provision of fish. He falls to his knees and recognises Jesus as Lord. Jonny shows us that this response of humble submission is the only proper response to the abundant goodness offered by Jesus.

This week we take a week out of our series as Jonny speaks on what it means to walk with God in pain. As our city suffers the loss of another young man to knife crime, Jonny teaches us that the resurrected and ascended Jesus shows us that we can come to God with our wounds. As we do that, we receive the blessing of His peace and joy.

This week Jonny teaches us about the fruit of Simon's obedience to Jesus' instruction; abundance! Simon is being led into the first of three paradigm shifts. This one is all about a movement from a paradigm of scarcity to one of abundance. What if God is calling you and the church into that shift at this time?

This week Jonny continues to teach through our Jesus Calling series, looking at Jesus' encounter with Simon. Having called him to put out into the shallow water, he now calls Simon into the deep, beyond his comfort zone. This journey into the deeper water is a powerful metaphor for the life of following Jesus, particularly at a moment like this one, and followers of Jesus need to be ready to respond to Jesus inviting them deeper than ever before.

This week we begin a new series called Jesus Calling. Over the next few weeks we will be looking at what it looks like to begin the journey of walking with Jesus. This week we look at Jesus' first interaction with Simon, in which he asks him to 'push the boat out a little from the shore.' Jonny asks us to consider whether there might be a small step that Jesus is calling us to take in our own lives.
