Applause can get loud around this accomplishment. Nevertheless the tolls to stay in this lane has a cost. In each environment it becomes colored with experiences of joy & difficulty. As a Black Woman in Environmental Science the plight of disenfranchised Black communities trouble you. The statistics are triggering, there are many Black lives tangled in polluted environments while drinking tainted water from the tap. Is this the effects of poverty, environmental racism or both intertwined?
