Shelley is a corporate journalist by day but by night a uketastic singer, songwriter, performer and community musician. Hear how she chose ukulele as a holiday activity but over time has turned a hobby into a fun-tastic lifestyle.

Aloha travellers, we're off to the sleepy little town of Babinda in far north Queensland. This thriving community was once based around the sugar mill but after it's closure in 2011 the town has re-fashioned itself into a tourist gemstone boasting pristine swimming holes, an awesome bakery and a very Uketastic ukulele club.

Aloha travellers, today I'm talking to Bunny an ex-pat New Zealander and fellow Polynesian living in the Northern Territory of Australia. With his teaching background Bunny has had many work roles but he is looking forward to retiring and taking up a life in a bus & on the road.

Aloha Travellers, today we head to Queensland where I found a lovely group of uke playing friends sipping wine under some big trees in the middle of a caravan park. I’m referring to Julie, Mike & Lorrie mates from Mackay and specifically Mackay Ukulele Group (MUGS) and that’s not the only group they play in either.
