Hi there, Welcome back to this week’s travel update. Flights across the U.S. are getting canceled left and right as travelers return from the holidays. In other news, JetBlue and American Airlines have announced their brand new summer schedule for 2022 with increasing service from New York and Boston. We’ll be right back to cover all this news after a short break. According to the Associated Press, more than 12,000 flights have been canceled since Christmas. Airlines blame the sudden surge of flight cancellations on the fact that the airline crews have gotten covid resulting in not enough people being able to ensure flights can operate smoothly. However, the winter weather didn’t make it much better with flights from the eastern part of the U.S. also suffering additional cancellations due to the winter weather. Coming up, Jetblue and American Airlines announce a brand new summer schedule with flights from New York and Boston.

A lot of people ask the age old question. Why do we travel? It could be for actual reasons such as visiting relatives or wanting to see a historical building. However, you could also want to travel for other reasons like wanting more adventure or trying to learn more about yourself.
