An encounter with Jesus results in a transformed heart and life. The work of transformation is both instantaneous and a life-long process. Jesus is ready and willing to make us new, to transform us in powerful and life-giving ways. The Gospels are full of stories of ordinary people whose hearts and lives were transformed by Jesus. Their stories of transformation help us to recognize the ways that Jesus does and can transform our hearts and lives.
