The Bible says Daddy God has a special love for you. He doesn’t judge you. He reaches out to draw you to His heart to a place of safety. Daddy God is always with you, you are never alone. Do you enjoy His presence? If you do He will hold you close and you will experience the joy of the Holy Spirit.

We have a false concept of resting. We think it’s something magical, something that just happens naturally. We think it means shutting down from the rest of life, almost like you’re switching off. Although the Lord anointed Saul with the Holy Spirit and provided him with everything he needed, Saul refused to recognize God as his source of life. Choosing to live out of his lack, in rebellion, he despised the Word of the Lord and the anointing of the Holy Spirit. In self-righteousness, Saul blamed others for his choices.
